Me and my girlfriend tried this. After the 1st 2 failed attempts we figured out how to get the dough to form correctly after the butter melts. From watching other videos. So what we did as soon as the butter melted ( we didn’t lower the heat). We kept it at the same med-high heat, until you get a boil. Then you turn off the heat as you continue to stir the dough. Hope this helps anyone out
I did it twice and they weren't light and fluffy and were also uncooked inside. I cooked them to a very crunchy state...lol Did yours cook through? Thank you
You could try to put the dough back on the burner and stir it until it thickens. If it's still too runny you could try to add little amounts of flour while it's on the burner. Just have your ingredients ready so that you could work quick and not burn your dough. As for being crunchy on the outside and uncooked on the inside, your oil is too hot. That's why it cooks faster on the outside and stays raw on the inside. The heat doesn't have time to transfer to the middle of the dough and fully cook it. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Ok so I have some tips for anyone else who’s gonna try this recipe out : I followed the recipe exactly as Claudia says : I put a timer for 15 minutes and let the dough cool down and then used a whisk and added 1 egg at a time and it’s gonna feel like you’re doing it wrong or it’s looking wrong but *trust the process* ok so definitely add the cinnamon and vanilla to the butter and sugar by the way! Oh and Also : for the cinnamon sugar at the end I did 1/2 cup sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon. Another thing: heat the oil for 2-5 minutes and then place your churros in for about 7 minutes or until golden brown and enjoy! Big Tip: for the butter mixture,I turned the heat down to low until it bubbled a little bit and then I added the flour and mixed for 1 minute while on heat then turned the heat off and took off stove and mixed for a minute off the stove and then added the eggs and then let the mixture cool down. I hope this helps anyone and makes sense,I’m bad at explaining things sometimes!

I keep trying this but my dough comes out too watery
