    Great video and a great looking pepper grinder. I have had that kind of grinder kit in my shop for nearly a year and now I think I will try to make one. Thanks for the inspiration!

      Thanks, I made another video of making one of these and it has a bit of info that might be useful.

      Erik Anderson Thanks I watched the other video and the first one you did. I also downloaded the Craft Supplies pddf instructions which seem better than the ones that came with the grinder mech. I purchased. Again Thanks for the info and the great videos you post. You tube and people like you that post their work on it, are great learning tools for people like me that want to learn how to do them. John

    Beautiful Erik, I really must do a Pepper Mill one day, on the ever growing "to do" list.
    Great video mate.

      Mike Waldt These click in crush grind ones are nice just make sure you do not bother with the little recess that requires a special tool, you can and should anyway, apply epoxy to the body in strategic areas to help the mechanism hold. Several people that make these all the time have commented on how they need to be epoxied in. Thanks again and I hope you have fun with it and watch my two videos on the process as I figured some stuff out and shared it in the two videos as well as a followup.

    Hi Erik,
    nice video and super good music from you.
    The pepper mill looks great and has a nice wood grain.

    Beautiful pepper mill Erik.
    The zebra wood makes a great contrast with the poplar.
    I made a few mills recently and was surprised how much work there is to them. Needless to say I had a few rejects before I got it right.
    Love your girl friend and the background music.
    Best wishes,
    Alan.

    Thanks for the revisit. I thought that this time around was an improvement and I really liked the background music...ever considered doing a slide show of your products with your music as the background? Bet it would get a lot of attention.

      Thanks Earl I really appreciate the kind words. Yes I have considered making a video with my music as the background track and I have a video posted online called naked Turner finished or naked Turner photos of finished pieces check it out let me know what you think.

    Excellent video! I've always wanted to make some of these (coming from a long line of cooking man) but was always scared of the complexity of the build... Nice touch with the Barbie, and good background music!

    • @ErikAnderson1
      @ErikAnderson1  9 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks Yuval, they are not that complicated with this click in mechanism, watch my other pepper mill video and you should be able to do it easy.

      My doll was hand sculpted by a hippy on my wife's side of the family. Got it in trade for a hand turned fountain pen. He rides on the tailstock a little safer. And models pens. And for the good of all his pants are glued on. Nice video by the way. Jim

      hey dad maybe you guys should set up shop in a strip club. I just installed 64 security cameras in one. took a lot longer than i expected

      William Talkington If Tim is down I will give it a try, I usually am not that distracted by strippers unless they straddle my headstock. 64 cameras is a lot of security, how many were trained on the strip stage? Thanks Will

    Nice work. What brand of Forstner bits do you use? Mine overheat when I drill more than 1" deep, so I'm looking for a new set.

    • @ErikAnderson1
      @ErikAnderson1  9 ปีที่แล้ว

      Mark Hazlewood Mine are cheap chinese and I sharpened them up with a couple of files and a dremmel.

    • @ErikAnderson1
      @ErikAnderson1  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I forgot about this silly video sorry I call myself naked turner because I love the natural beauty of wood in it's naked form, I was a treeplanter as a youth and have a great respect for the trees of our world, they are the lungs. NASA has a great video from the I.S.S. of the Brazilian rainforest breathing for a world. Thank you trees!
