Pange Lingua (English) - Alderon Tyran

Easter of 2023 is getting a few more songs than usual! For Holy Thursday/Maundy Thursday, We get this Beautiful Catholic Gregorian Chant penned by St. Thomas Aquinas between 1227-1274. As Patrick Lenk does a far better rendition in the original Latin, I felt that I would do better doing an English translation of the song but keeping the traditional melody intact. I highly recommend checking out Patrick's version and you can find it in the end video recommendations at the end.

Sing, my tongue, the Saviour's glory,
Of His Flesh, the mystery sing;

Hey All, I'm finally trying to get back into producing for the new year just in time for the Easter Season so we're starting out with a song for Holy Thursday/Maundy Thursday. For the Western Christians that'd be yesterday, but the Orthodox and everyone on the old calender gets this song ahead of time, instead of late (Sorry 'bout that).
While I recognize that Gothic fonts like the one used may not be universally legible, I find that it's fitting for the context, but if you're ever confused as to the spelling of what you're seeing, see the description!

This video was admitedly rushed since I basically recorded and put together the whole thing after evening mass today/yesterday so please forgive the shoddy production quality. There will be another, different style of song for Good Friday, and one for Easter Proper (that will come out the previous day). I hope you enjoy!
