The loosey tripod is drop dead gorgeous. Don’t be tripping if your camera falls for her.

Glad that Sony cares about Sirui and take all the way and trouble to be there.

I have a Siri monopod, and the build quality is excellent. I have seen some of their video fluid heads, and they look and feel great.
UPDATE July 30: I took a chance on this video head and have mixed feelings about it.
    The good:
The price is great if you need a heavy payload video head
Sirui products are well built (much better than Manfrotto)
The two adjustable control handles are nice feature, especially for people doing broadcast or events using handle mounted remote controls.
The quick release tripod bolt is a great idea for fast on/off of the video head, but (...see below)
The tilt-in mounting feature is a must-have for me.
Compatible with affordable, easy to find Manfrotto 501 quick release plates.
    The not-so-good:
Tilts and pans are not as smooth as my 8 year old Sachtler FSB-6. The pan movement always has some degree of friction. I don't think whip pans are possible with this head.
The counter balance needs more in-between settings. With my camera rig setting #1 is way too light and setting #2 is way too stiff. 10 settings would likely resolve this for me, and other camera operators. Although this may not be an issue for other camera rigs, this is why I am returning this head.
The release knob for the tripod mounting bolt is a great idea, but it's so large that I have difficulty collapsing my Sachtler FlowTech legs.
The bubble level is tiny, and not illuminated. Obviously, we intend to level the video head for every shot, so this seems like a major over sight.
Tilt lock requires extra force to secure tilt position. This prevents unlocking it without some kind of "jerking" motion that will appear in the shot.
I really wanted to like this video head. My Sachtler FSB-6 max payload is a bit too low for my camera rig, while the Sirui SVH15 payload doesn't allow for fine adjustment. YMMV

9 stops of tension for tilt and pan along with locking mechanism? Very nice! Can't wait till this hits B&H!

And six year warranty. They’re pretty confident!

Just got mine and I'm really impressed. Night and day from the Manfrotto Nitrotech I've been using. Well done Sirui.

Sirui is about to release the SVT75 One-Step Height Adjustment Video Tripod with this video head. If they say taht they are going to release a 100 mm version of the head, is it safe to assume that they will also come out with a larger version of the afore mentioned tripod?

It's funny how Surui looks like Benro. It seems one or the other has stolen the blue look 😅

Can the tripod take a normal 75mm bowl fluid head? Fx Sirui BHC-10?
