It seems there are several organizations in that building that consistently hire NYU interns, as I had an internship at 1515 Broadway during my senior year at NYU (we called it the Viacom Building at the time). The interior has a lot of charming nuances and features; every time you film those escalators at the entrance, it kind of triggers a little rush of nostalgia. Ngl though, getting past the Times Square crowd every time you go into the office was sometimes a bit of a challenge 😄

How did u get into NYU brother ?
@@naghulmx5762 How's it going? I actually went to a state college on the West Coast before NYU but transferred during my second year. To be honest, I believe getting in was a matter of 3 factors: 1. I kept a very nearly 4.0 GPA at my original college. 2. I did a ton of extracurriculars such as student government, honors, mock trial, etc. 3. I got very close to some senior professors at my original school who then wrote me letters of recommendation. I then applied to 13 different universities, and it came down to NYU, Boston, or Miami. The choice was obvious, and that was that. Any other questions, just let me know!

hi!! i missed uploading too- hoping to come back with weekly videos this month!! And haha i actually had the same question and had to ask a couple of managers first to see if it was okay and i got the okay! Maybe also because its a media company so their more open to their interns making videos about the experience : )

Semicolon Cafe! I was like, that name seems oddly familiar but I haven't been to NYC in like 10 years so why?? Turns out they only have six locations but one of them is in my city and I've walked by it numerous times. Maybe I'll go in and check them out next time! 😄

What was the hiring process at Paramount?
in terms of this internship, I applied for the position in November of 2021, a got a response for an interview starting around the end of January. Throughout the February I interviewed for a couple different roles within the company and accepted a job/got an offer letter by the end of February!

not at the moment! the internship ended during august : )
