This game was the most majestic thing there could be for me at that time. I’ll never not play Skyrim. I’ve given breaks that only last about 2 to 3 months tops, but then I come back just to beat the game, level up every skill tree to max and complete all quest lines. It’s insanity. You’d think I would get sick of this game but I don’t.
You can make this a little faster by wearing double headgear. Being able to wear a regular falmar helm and a circlet is a bug that was never patched. So you can wear 2 headgears, wrist, ring and necklace all at 25% boost for a total of +125%. Only thing is that the headgears have to be a falmar helm and a circlet.
So, I tried this on the Switch version, and it didn't work for some reason. I've got the ingredients, I have a full 4-piece set of Fortify Alchemy at 21% and nothing happens when I unequip and re-equip the stuff. I tried making the "Fortify Enchanting" potion for this, but nothing. :( Edit: Jake forgot to mention that it HAS TO BE Fortify Restoration in order to work. It works on switch as well.
I've found hidden chests in Dawnstar, Markarth, and Solitude. They seem to coincide with towns the Khajit visit. I wonder if there are hidden chest in White Run and Windhelm, two additional towns. So I've played this game a long time and just realized there are two different Khajit caravan groups. I guess I just wasn't paying attention. Most players don't realize the hidden chests are only available in vanilla mode, no mods, Creation Club, ok though. Thanks for the vids.
Try to obtain some Yellow Mountain flower from the Ancestor Glade, it has a stronger Fortify Restoration potency than Salt Piles or fish. Also try obtaining Krosis’s dragon priest mask. Since it’s treated as a circlet, you can wear it for an extra slot. Finally, the Ring of Pure Mixtures obtained from Dawnstar’s potion lady is a scripted enchantment one can find at level one either by finishing the quest and pickpocketing off her
Quick tip for yall using over powered enchantments after swallowing the potion.. note that they all tie to the same category of the school of magic they come from ... for example. Equipment with above 100% in say conjuration will mean that any conjuration related enchantment on your weapon will never drain out.. not sure about restoration though..heard it has extremely negative effects towards magika if it goes beyond 100% cost reduction.. still gotta test it out
In short a necklace or ring over 100% in cost reduction means infinite usage of your weapons without having to stop then refill its bar Paralysis=Alteration Fire/ice/shock=Destruction Fear=illusion Soultrap=conjuration And so forth
1:46 How does having enchanting leveled to 100 effect this process? Did he mean having all enchanting perks? If so, how would the elemental perks, health/magicka/stamina perks, soul gem perks, etc. have any effect on this process?
Same thing. I think it is the continuous compounding of the potions broke alchemy. I've tried everything...I tried to Legendary it to reset it, but it is still broke. I will need to create a new character and save BEFORE I start this process.
make a super powerful enchanting potion, then drink it and enchant an item with fortify smithing OP smithing (only when upgrading weapons or armour, not creating items)
you can make an enchanting potion, drink it then enchant rings or amulets with fortify health/stamina/magicka (or double up if you have the top enchanting perk)

if you sell the potions you make like twice you can get speech to 100 in like 1 second
On PC over here, I just use leveler's tower anymore, and visit the lab for a few minutes to get my character squared away.

It should last as long as the potion lasts.
