Your posture is fantastic. My doctor said my shoulders (age 44) are starting to round forward, which is common. Trying to correct this is a 24/7 chore. But your shoulders are perfectly positioned and you're not even trying. Bravo!

The reason sunscreen may leave a white cast is because it is a mineral sunscreen with zinc as one of it's attive ingredients. If there is no cast then you are (sorry!) using a chemical sunscreen. One reflects the sunscreen rays, one absorbs them. Both equally effective. This one is a chemical sunscreen but with very nice inactive ingredients. I think i will try it.

I'm turning 50 in a few weeks and have definitely felt in the last year + that I'm in a different age group and definitely an "older" woman. We need more awareness around our needs and this phase of life because we are getting completely dismissed. As a society, we have a huge threshold of tolerance for women's suffering. Aging needs to be normalized, as does showing our age AND taking exquisite care of ourselves at this time of life. Thank you for being a positive voice. Great video and products features. I, too, used to "bake" in the sun. My skin tans very quickly still to this day. I was not diligent about sunscreen in my younger years, but I was about cleansing my face. Now I use sunscreen each day and moisturizer with SPF, too. My skin has also become crepy, but more than that, it is ITCHY! I've seen a dermatologist. She gave me anti-itch creme and lotion for my scalp. I thought I had bugs on my head! When I started sharing with other women in my age group, they said they experience the same and it is a symptom of menopause. Oy! Have you had this issue? Thanks for another great video!

You hit upon so many areas of concern. I love that you stress we can't expect to have the skin of younger women, but we can certainly do our best to keep our skin in top condition. I have been using the drug store products No 7 or Roc line corrector serum for around the lip area, which helps diminish the appearance of the fine lines.

I have tried some Strivectin products. Thank you for showcasing a drugstore brand. As a retired person, I’m becoming very conscious about my budget. It’s difficult to find effective products that are good for the body and environment, while also not breaking the bank. I’m currently using some LaRoche Posay products that I like. Not too expensive and available at drugstores. Dermatologist recommended. They also recommend many Cerave and Cetaphil.

FYI - I have used and like the StriVectin tighten and lift eye serum but, not with using concealer. It didn’t play well together for me. I picked up Tula instant de-puff eye renewal serum, it’s also clean. It doesn’t look funky with concealer, which is really nice. Same type of applicator too. I get sinus drainage, puffiness around my eyes in the morning too, and this has really been the best thing.
I am so glad you talked about the Kopari sun shield. I went full on Kopari a few years back....coconut skin cream, deodorant, oil pullers. I did not know about the sun shield...so thanks. The Beekman primer & they have a face oil....but, the soap! I have always moisturized after my shower & still do, with the goat cream, but I could honestly skip it because my skin feels so soft after showering just from the soap. Great news about Strivectin as well. Thank you always for the testing you do for us so you can share & we have a foot up as they say.😘

I tried the Strivectin neck cream years ago and it did okay. But I am waiting on the collagen treatment from Algenist to arrive to see if it improves my neck, décolleté and my face of course. Thank you for sharing. Sadly people don’t use enough sunscreen to get the amount of protection they need. Just b/c it says spf 35 you have to use 1/4 of a tsp for face and neck and you should always use a separate sunscreen and never rely solely on the spf in your makeup as that’s not enough.

I was so excited to see the Kenzzi for hair removal! The facial hair, as I have aged, is very difficult. Unfortunately, upon further research, I found the product is not recommended, as my facial hair is light. I am so disappointed.

The Oasis rest relief may help with eye puffiness . It’s a microwaveable eye pad that provides warmth to your eye area for about 10 minutes. My optometrist rec it. Not expensive .

I don't tan at all exactly the opposite and I find my skin is dry and itchy too. I am about to turn 52 May 28 WOOT WOOT 🎉 . I still have a youthful appearance with the knowledge of an older person. It's the best of both worlds

You hit upon so many areas of concern. I love that you stress we can't expect to have the skin of younger women, but we can certainly do our best to keep our skin in top condition. I have been using the drug store products No 7 or Roc line corrector serum for around the lip area, which helps diminish the appearance of the fine lines.

Thank you, Dominique. I have always looked longingly at Strivecton products, but they are so expensive. Right now, I am getting monthly facials with a woman from South Korea. I use a lot of her products from South Korea. But I will seriously think about adding one or more Strivectin products a little at a time as I run out of her products. I like the gel sunscreen, too!
I have tried some Strivectin products. Thank you for showcasing a drugstore brand. As a retired person, I’m becoming very conscious about my budget. It’s difficult to find effective products that are good for the body and environment, while also not breaking the bank. I’m currently using some LaRoche Posay products that I like. Not too expensive and available at drugstores. Dermatologist recommended. They also recommend many Cerave and Cetaphil.

FYI - I have used and like the StriVectin tighten and lift eye serum but, not with using concealer. It didn’t play well together for me. I picked up Tula instant de-puff eye renewal serum, it’s also clean. It doesn’t look funky with concealer, which is really nice. Same type of applicator too. I get sinus drainage, puffiness around my eyes in the morning too, and this has really been the best thing.
I am so glad you talked about the Kopari sun shield. I went full on Kopari a few years back....coconut skin cream, deodorant, oil pullers. I did not know about the sun shield...so thanks. The Beekman primer & they have a face oil....but, the soap! I have always moisturized after my shower & still do, with the goat cream, but I could honestly skip it because my skin feels so soft after showering just from the soap. Great news about Strivectin as well. Thank you always for the testing you do for us so you can share & we have a foot up as they say.😘

Regarding the Kenzzi, other influencers have stated in the past that it’s not meant for facial or neck hair removal, even for a few small areas. Since you demonstrated it on your upper lip and neck, do you feel it’s effective and safe for continuous use on those areas? I value your judgement and opinions 🤍🥰
I have been told that it’s safe, and the attachment for sunspots would include the face as well, but again, that is according to Kenzzi.
I worry about this, as well, especially since I’m a cancer survivor.

Strivectin is great and their hand volumizer surprisingly really makes a difference
I tried the Strivectin neck cream years ago and it did okay. But I am waiting on the collagen treatment from Algenist to arrive to see if it improves my neck, décolleté and my face of course. I understand that it is plant based, keep your fingers crossed. Love your channel and I want to ask have you ever tried the Osea line for skin and body care?

Thank you for sharing. Sadly people don’t use enough sunscreen to get the amount of protection they need. Just b/c it says spf 35 you have to use 1/4 of a tsp for face and neck and you should always use a separate sunscreen and never rely solely on the spf in your makeup as that’s not enough.

I was so excited to see the Kenzzi for hair removal! The facial hair, as I have aged, is very difficult. Unfortunately, upon further research, I found the product is not recommended, as my facial hair is light. I am so disappointed.

I am much older than you and I am going to take your word as Gospel. I have problems in all of the areas you discussed, especially the neck and jaw line, puffy eyes as well. The Oasis rest relief may help with eye puffiness . It’s a microwaveable eye pad that provides warmth to your eye area for about 10 minutes. My optometrist rec it. Not expensive .
