Hey Jimmy. Thank you for your relief work. There is so much destruction and so many people that lost everything. I have a buddy in Ft Myers who still has no water, but he's been going to old folks homes in the area to help. He told me that there is a huge need for adult diapers. Maybe your friends at GiveSendGo can help fulfill that need?

General aviation is a powerful tool for disaster relief. In 1977, the city of Johnstown, Pennsylvania was hit with a huge flood. It wasn't as big as THE Johnstown Flood, but it still did a lot of damage and displaced a lot of people. At airports all over the region, local pilots were pitching in to carry relief supplies. My Dad and I flew a load of food and cleaning supplies out of Allegheny County Airport in Pittsburgh. As we descended over the city toward Johnstown Airport, it was easy to see the thick layer of mud and debris covering everything. It didn't cost us much but time and fuel, plus it gave us an excuse--like we needed an excuse--to go flying. But I like to think we helped the folks in Johnstown at least a little bit. I hope pilots everywhere are pitching in like Jimmy and his compadres. Thank. you!

We've seen you write checks for schools for aviation education, adding to the purchase price tuition for future A/P techs. And now helping raise diabetic awareness. Jimmy great job you and your friends are doing. Just a suggestion, if you're going to use the 401 for cargo hauling, take the rear seats out. They come out really easily, just a couple of pins. It will free up a lot of space. Don't forget to create a new W&B without the seats. I have two W&B's prepared for my 401B, one with seats, one without. Good luck and thank you!!!

Just an observation 9 months out Jimmy, the Karen(s) might have misunderstood what you said about the gas for the planes, I also saw in the "Reported To The FAA" video where you clearly stated that the gas was coming out of the pilot's/plane's pockets and not from the donated $$$. An awesome feat you guys did after the storm. I've been watching the videos for a while now, would love to fly but medicals would keep me from a license. Was a passenger on several commercial flights years ago related to being in the Military, flew in a Cessna that a friend was a student pilot and missed (kick myself sometimes) a flight in a Lear because I had to get back to Atlanta for business, now retired. Keep up doing what you do, it's almost like I'm up there flying with you
