    Second vid of yours that I’ve watched and thoroughly enjoyed! Not many people here would bother eating fish that size. Use it for bait instead to catch bigger fish. They don’t know what they’re missing out on. Looked really tasty! Looked like an awesome location makes me wonder what else you can fish for there....or dive for that matter.
    Once again great vid mate!

    I have stumbled upon this channel now that I have gotten back into fishing and learning fly fishing! It is great to see Maine in the TH-cam world where it seems like everyone is not from here. But still a best kept secret! I’d love to support the Fly shop too.

      Not many around the bar harbor area unfortunately especially with the weather we’ve been having. I would target small mouth if I where you or macs of the coast they are definitely here so you should get some. If you want native trout its best to go north or the western ends of the state. best of luck!

    Great video. I'll be visiting in a few weeks from the Gulf Coast. I'm thinking about bringing a 4 piece pack rod just to piddle around like you are doing in this vid. Just to add a species or two to the list of things that I have caught. It seems that little spoons work no matter where you are. LOL What knife is that you are using in the video? It's not the same one that you have liked in the text below the video. Thanks

    • @MainelyOutDoors
      @MainelyOutDoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, good luck to you there is plenty of fish around our coast right now so I'm sure you'll do well. That knife is one from my kitten it came with a set and I cant recall the name. nothing special about it but its still the only fillet knife I have

      @@MainelyOutDoors , I've been reading and cant seem to find an answer. To fish in Maine, do I need a separate freshwater and saltwater license? I can find reference to the freshwater license, but none to salt. Here in AL, we have separate licenses for each.

    • @MainelyOutDoors
      @MainelyOutDoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@cliffwalden4038 Well kinda you don't actually need one for saltwater you just need to pay one dollar to the state to help then keep track of how many are fishing the saltwater. It's kinda weird but that's how it is here. if you already have a freshwater fishing licence in Maine and checked the box that says you also fish saltwater you don't have to do that.

    • @cliffwalden4038
      @cliffwalden4038 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    • @MainelyOutDoors
