The Daily Dress is an adjustable, drop waist style that features pleats or gathers and with no zipper needed. The Daily Dress is perfect for dressing up or down and wearing on the daily! With an adjustable corset-style back that ties instead of a zipper, large pockets with pocket stays, pleated skirt or gathered skirt, wide scoop neck bodice, and ample hacking options! This garment is the perfect holiday dress for the upcoming season and beyond!
This sewing pattern ranges from ADVENTUROUS BEGINNER to INTERMEDIATE pleats may come off confusing for a beginner the first time, but the gathered view (B) would be a great place to start. Because it is a fitted bodice you may have some personal fit adjustments to make, but my instructions on “fitting your toile” will walk you through every step, if needed.
Sizes:
0 - 23, which correlate to Full Bust 29.5”-64” (75cm-162.5cm) and Waist 21.5”-57” (55cm-145cm)
The garment was designed for a B cup, which is a 2" (5 cm) difference between the upper bust and full bust measurements. If you have larger than a 2" (5 cm) difference, there are tips on choosing your size as well as a link to a very informative video that will walk you through any adjustments needed found on page 6 of the instructions.
