This guy was my best friend growing up he had so many struggles he overcame that no one has any idea about I was happy to see how far he has come love you bro through and through
First time I saw Coker was in a Vice mini documentary about west side. He came across as a very interesting individual. Can’t wait to know about him. Let me press play… and thanks!
I got introduced to powerlifting cause of that mini documentary. I don’t compete nor do I plan to but man my training has been based off of westside since then
Thanks for doing these Tom. The podcasts are paced perfectly and put together really well also nice to hear an interviewer who doesn’t interrupt people. I look forward to these dropping on Fridays A few requests … 1. Doris 2. Chuck V on his own 3. Kenny Patterson & George Halbert talking Bench Press 4. More Matt Dimel stories
Huge fan of jason! I've been following him for a while, he's torn up but always keeps grinding (i follow him on IG). i can tell he's mentally tough and has to be one of the best. I think he benched 908lb at 198? insane!
I’m glad for these podcast. There are interviews about 30 minutes long with the westside guys. However, bless the interviewer, he didn’t get the most out of the guys. I’m glad you and Dave Tate got more out of the guys
I've lifted at a few meets with this dude a guy from Westside trained me when I was lifting in TN. I came down still lit he said hey man your in your underwear I was in the elevator everyone looked over. I was with the cell block crew
Does anyone know how tall Coker is? I can never tell by looking at him. By the way I'm writing this at the start of this. So if he mentions it later on, my fault

My first ex-husband I really do miss him and I miss his "realness" for sure!

He’s definitely not a cookie cutter
Coker was good bencher but I never saw him rip 650lbs in a loose tshirt on his tippy toes with no leg drive
I saw him drop 900 on his head. Was the first meet I ever saw in person
Wow, that must have been scary to see.
@@WestsideBarbellOfficial he had a knot on his head the size of like a baseball.
