Nicronon This version, the one posted here, is from the Album "T.G Sheppard". This is not usually the kind of recorded music you hear on the country music station like the more familiar version we are so used to hearing, from the album "Super Hits- T..G. Sheppard." This version that you are listening is a Country Genre while the more familiar one that is highly popular in the 80's is the Pop Genre.
yes who is he? it is an amazing version. he certainly sounds like T G Shepherd. Mind you it has probably been digitally re-mastered and played around with a bit like air brushing photos
@Nicronon Are you sure? It sounds the same as the sample of T. G. Sheppard's "Do You Want to Go to Heaven" linked as "Buy ... on eMusic", below the "X views ... X likes ... X dislikes" above.
It is a re-recording by T.G. Sheppard... Same as they are doing with all the music from the 60's 70's and 80's.. Disputes over band members and sessions players over royalties for the tracks that were made... Even Ozzie Osbourne did it... Removed bass and drums from his 80's albums digitally enhanced his vocals and re-released the CD's.
This is T.G. Sheppard's best song ever! My favorite! My dad loves this song too!
