Thank you Shar. I think I heard you talk about this before, but as we revisit things, we always hear it in a different way again. I just want to express how much I appreciate you. ❤
Nice to meet you and hear your story 😊 I know you mentioned a next stage but the way I see it, it's simply a the end of the current process, the end of dissolution of identity in general, as "I am that" "I am everything" "I am awareness" ... Is also identity, no different than "I am a person" Beliefs, thoughts, forms appearing and disappearing. "I am still in this stage" That "I am" is identity, the idea of being someone, something, somewhere.. The mind always wants to identify as something.. Instead of "I am this or that", or even just 'i am", "there is" "I am not, there is" Seems to be the end of the road, illuminating all possible identities 🌞
Thank you for making this video. Whenever I come across this type of talk, the speaker says something that lets me know they don’t really know, so I can’t share it with others, however I can share this video. I first had the “I am everything, I am all there is” , oneness, unity experience at age 11, this only lasted about 10 minutes. Then at 49 it went further into complete equanimity, being pure awareness only, this lasted about 3 hours. After each, more knowledge about reality comes. I don’t have the motivation to create a video etc… but still have enough wanting to help others when a way presents itself…. you have presented an honest video 🙏🙏🙏
9:30 Every time I understand that I have to let myself go, I (or my ego and body) cries or I feel a heavy emotion. It stops me from pursuing and I sometimes (not always) go back into my heavy negative habits even more. Like an opposite but equal reaction.
As we go deeper into surrendering into our being, the egoic tendencies can increase, creating a yo-yoing back and forth effect. It will sort itself out. You can trust the process.
Lovely video, Shar! Would you be open to discussing how values shift over time with stages of awakening? I think it would resonate with others on the path. I know you’ve mentioned how work values might change with different stages of awakening and presence. In my experience, I’ve found that in certain roles, I feel less inclined to intellectualize or put on a persona. I’m more drawn to authenticity and work that’s less cognitive.
Shar talks a lot about this in various videos. A good video to watch is "The Path of Failure - My Awakening Story," which gives an overview of her journey and offers practices and insights you can glean from it.
Great talk. Thanks, Shar. Could I just make one suggestion? Could you please turn up your recording volume a little? I usually have to really crank up my speakers (or earphones) when I go from other TH-cam videos to yours and then turn them back down again before watching anything else. Thank you for everything you do!
Thank you. It's so touching. I cried a few times listening to this video. 🥰
I’ve never heard it explained before quite like this. A truly precious gift that you have shared. Thank you 🙏
