Fahrenheit was the one that blew my mind, and made me a fragrance guy. Dior Homme OG was the one that blew my mind after my mind had already been blown so many times before, which says a lot about how good it would have to be, as it was a couple of years into collecting that I'd discovered it, and it's probably my favorite fragrance to date.

Such a great video Justin, you are so wonderful and genuine to listen to. A great list as always. I have most of the fragrances on your list, but I have to say Dior Homme Eau is my #1. It's the one that I have worn the most and totally signature scent worthy because it takes the original Homme DNA and makes it more versatile for any occasion. I think it's discontinued now which is such a shame so I have had to slow down my usage, but it's one of my all-time favourites in my collection. Eau Sauvage Parfum, Fahrenheit Le Parfum (strictly winter wear) and Dior Homme Cologne would be honurable mentions for me. The Cologne is a great hot vacation scent, just spray all over when you get out of the shower and enjoy the day at the beach or by the pool.

Dior Homme Original is one of my all time favorites! You may recall me asking you to do a comparison to the OG (Pre 2021) as I’ve never had the pleasure to experience that one myself but DHO is absolutely stunning! From what I gather it seems as though it’s a cleaner more floral/aromatic iteration in comparison to the pre 2021 version because I don’t detect any cacao or leather at all at least not to my nose, but for what it is it’s truly beautiful and timeless. Also can’t agree more about how DHP creates a vibe, in fact that’s what I love the most about out the Dior Homme line (pre 2020) is that they genuinely create a vibe I’ve never really experienced as profoundly from many other fragrances in general. Demachy also did an incredible job with each flanker making each one truly unique and original while still retaining elements that help them remain true to the line without redundancy, in my opinion. Great video Justin as usual! All the best!

Your vids are always cool. Good vibes but also respect your opinions on your preferences and explanations for why.. couldn't agree more.. all a matter of preference.... Like wine, cigars, watches, cars, ect..... All a matter of preference... I appreciate all that you bring to the table. Never once thought about what you've left off the table.... For what it's worth, Dior makes my "island fragrance".... An island fragrance is the one you'd take stranded on an island if you can only have one..... For me that's "Fahrenheit".... Of all the scent bloggers you're at the top of the tier. For sure!

great video and points. you do you. I like DH2020 and probably rank DHS2021 higher up, close to DH2020. I agree that DHS2021 does have a deeper or denser base, that pulsing amber at its heart I find classy and somewhat homey soothing, but unlike DH2020 I can’t reapply DHS because when I do it tends to be somewhat noisy with opening notes and base notes left from earlier spray mixing together, confusing the scent. the cologne is wonderful for layering, though, because it’s bright top notes uplifts denser fragrances that can mix well with citrus. all the best!

Your 3 and 4 are my top 2. DHP leaves me speechless every time. I’m slowly working through my 5ml decant before going on the hunt for a full bottle, but I WILL have that in my collection. Nice video Justin. I remember Fahrenheit edt when it came out back in the 1980's, it has been and continue to be my favourite Dior. Finished my last bottle a very long time ago, but might get one soon. The original Eau Sauvage was my late uncle's favorite, so I am very familiar with it, a timeless masterpiece for sure, have yet to try the new versions. Sauvage Elixir is great but I prefer other scents from other brands with similar experience. Dior Homme original smells like a box on makeup on my skin. Not very pleasant to me. I prefer the sports 2021, but again I like other scents much more. Honestly I their Ladies perfumes are much more superior. Posion and its flankers are almost all true timeless master pieces.

Years ago I bought Dior Homme Intense and it blew my mind away. It was an amazing feeling, especially for being blind bought and my first powdery fragrance. Then I had the chance to buy Dior Homme Parfum... Damn. It's rich, dark, sexy, it's unique, long-lasting, a lot of compliments. Took me some weeks to get use to it but right now is my favourite designer fragrance. It's very difficult to find a bottle, so it makes it more unique to wear it. I don't know other persons that wears it.
Sauvage Elixir is amazing too, but it's a more common fragrance and I know some people that wears that fragrance, even one of my coworkers who wears it several times. It's an amazing fragrance, powerful, rich, dense, a magnet of compliments. I've weard it (my colleague borough it) and it's great.
But the uniqueness of Dior Homme Parfum, in my opinion, it's what I'm looking for on fragrances.

My favorite is DHP, followed by Sauvage Elixir, Dior Homme 2020 and Fahrenheit og. As I don't care for sweet fragrances, I sold Fahrenheit Parfum and Dior Homme Original. An underestimated fragrance is Dior Dune. If you can just give it a try. Classy, woody, fig with a 90's touch. Very refined, not dated in my opinion. Keep up the good work JC.

For the last year and a half, I've become a (mostly) niche snob. Dior is one of the few exceptions. I bought Faranheit when it was new (graduated in 88), still a strong love. It is not what it was, but neither am I. Never smelled homme parfum, but I would love to. Other than that, I've had or have everything else you mentioned. Elixir is one of my most worn frags, and I have close to a hundred between fulls and decants. Love Sauvage parfum, too. Gonna wear it today. Love 2020 because I have the original, too. Intense, too.

Thank you for taking the time to share your observations about Dior. I have worn Eau Savage for many years, primarily because it completes getting dressed then fades into the background which is how I prefer to wear fragrance. I was very excited to learn that we agree about Elixir. I think Elixir will become for Dior what Vetiver is for Guerlain. When you have the time please offer your observations on Givenchy. Thanks.

It doesn’t sound harsh because I think most of have an understanding of how social media works and that’s it’s not for everyone. Now on to fragrances, i absolutely love Farenheit. Love it! I don’t care if it’s dated. It’s one that I will always have in my collection.

I would put them in a very different order but I actually love that about this hobby, it's so subjective!
And to answer your question Dior Homme 2011 and Original are exactly the same. If you can try the 2007 version which to me is the best one!

There's a rule in the whiskey community that the best whiskey is the one you like the way you like to drink it.
When it comes to fragrance which is even more personal the best is the one you like the way you like to wear it.

On my skin, the dry down of Dior Homme Sport 2021 gets this almost watery/soapy quality to it. I kind of get what you mean by darker and rougher because I think the frankincense comes out more, but to me the "sport" makes sense.

Got Gucci Guilty Absolute and DHP this year due to your reviews and they're really such amazing fragrances, DHP in particular I just keep remembering the scent and wanting to spray it when I have nothing on, really mesmerising. Also happened to blind order DHO today due to sheer curiosity 😅

Homme Intense 2020 is easily one of my favorites. I fell in love with Gentlemen EDP Boisee before I realized it was mostly a derivative of Intense. And if you haven't had a chance to smell Tobacolor yet, that one is worth trying. My brother loves Fahrenheit but it really does smell like 1988 to me.

Thanks for this nice video , I am enjoying your reviews in general .
The Dior Homme 2020 which is on number 2 in your list , it is my number one fragrance , not only from Dior , but from my all collection which is about 25 high quality fragrances , yes , I also didn't like it from the first smell , but then it became my number one , amazing scent , and the most versatile one .
Dior Homme PARFUM is my number 2 , but honestly I can not use it much because it is so strong and limited usage scent .
    Greetings

Will always have a bottle of Dh2020, on my third bottle alr, one of my sign scents, it was one of the first fragrances i ever sampled, when i went to buy it i bought dior homme original by accident, wasnt ready for it then, absolutely love it now :) might pick up a bottle of eau sauvage parfum in the future, such a classy and classically masculine scent, love the bottle design as well💯, and yeah i feel like the dior homme sport has more incense as well

I wonder Justin did you get to try Maison Crivelli Iris Malikhân, if you did can you give a take on it compared to Homme Parfum(looking for an Iris scent to add to my collection and so far the Crivelli is my favorite, but I've yet to try DHP did try DHI and it's good but I think I like Iris Malikhân more.

Judging from most of those screenshots at the 1:18 mark, it seems like one of your ranking videos really pissed off the Hacivat fans Justin😂😂😂.
That one guy in particular who left multiple comments seemed really unhappy....considering the first 3 letters of his screen name, I shouldn't be surprised 🤣🤣.

Always wanted to like Dior homme parfum.
But something doesn’t hit the spot. Maybe it’s the combination of the iris with the heavy darkness of the scent.
Hope my nose will one day get it/like it. If so, that’s gonna be a great day…

My thought is that Dior need to focus on density more with the line as a whole..my dior homme sport i bought a 6.7 for full retail because i was infatuated with it at the time, but i have to spray it a good bit.
Ive smelled almost all of these and would say that my ranking would be the same as yours if i owned these..

Reminder that JC sprayed Sauvage Elixir for 5 times when he tried it first lol. Translate that to regular perfumes it's like spraying 10+ times. Anyway Sauvage Elixir is a crazy old school fougere-like fragrance and i absolutely love it. This, and DHP. Was a bit underwhelmed by DH 2020 though, because to me it smelled like a younger, less bold version of Terre d'Hermès. Great list anyways! Dior rarely disappoints.

"What type of trash ratings"…Nah, I’m just playing. Just wanted to reach out to my Niche Fragrance Daddy to say Happy Father's Day (and it’s gotta be about time to put a bun in Grace's oven), but seriously, thanks for teaching me so much about perfumery this past year. It has really been a great journey and I wanted to say “Thank you". And also I must add that Dior Homme @ #2 over DHP is crazy, but I respect your experience, Master Obi-Wan. Be good, playa.
