Now it reminded of the Dr. Who episode where the Dr. brought Van Gogh in the present time so that he sees how his paintings are being appreciated and celebrated. Damn that was a good ep.

Saw it in Venice. Willem Dafoe delivers his greatest performance in a beautiful, hypnotic, poetic film that is not a boring and ordinary biopic but rather a Van Gogh painting come to life.
This looks like a very powerful movie with a lot emotion to it. It feels like a struggle between what he want to paint and what people think he should pain. Very good trailer.
That is a universal struggle among all artists, do we create something for ourselves, or do we create something for everyone else... Bridging that gap and pleasing both the observer and the creator is next to impossible.

What a bloody brilliant casting! Trailer made me very emotional, I learn alot of history and events thru visual medium, be it a movie or documentary or paintings.. He was my first and favorite painter as a boy, Schnabel's visual interpretations of his life I simply have to see. The casting is also inspiring, Defoe is as close VanGogh as you can get here, and Issac's a wonderful actor...I'm going!

What is the Songs that is playing at 0:00-0:25 and 0:26-0:52 (The Piano/Violin) minute parts? 😱 This trailer... Was so well-done edited (It literally made me cry) and I love Oscar Isaac, who’s me #4 favourite Actor of all-time (He is going to be in me 2028 Romantic-Drama and 2032 World War II/Holocaust Movies when I become a Movie-Director) 💜 But I also love Mads Mikkelsen too. I didn’t know what was “Eternity’s Gate” about (Many months ago, there was nothing about this Movie, till this month they started to post things.) and me seeing this trailer... It looks such a very good Movie! 😍 I believe it’s going to be a 4/5 or 5/5 Star Movie because of the actors/acting, the cinematography, camera shots/angles, colours, Story, etc. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The trailer itself was so so so amazing/spectacular and very well edited. Just wow. I am in love with it. I literally got chills whilst watching it aswell as cried. One of me favourite trailers that I watched in me entire Life... Besides “A Star Is Born” (2018) Movie. From watching this Trailer... The acting, camera shots/angles, cinematography, music, etc. looks so spot-on good/A+++! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Like I cannot stop watching this trailer now. Whoever edited this trailer... Did such a freaking superb job! Everything about this Movie will be so good. I know a wee bit of Vincent Van Gogh, from a Ceramics class I took in 9th Grade (2013) aswell as I went to the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, Netherlands, which was so cool to see some of Vincent’s art he did from many years ago! 😱 I wish that the Telly-Show “Genius” (National Geographic) could do a Season about Vincent Van Gogh. For example... They made Season 2 of “Genius” about Pablo Picasso (Which I learned alot about him and now have 99% disgust tord’s him.). That would be a dream! 😍

I want to see this movie already! Brilliant these Actors are artists as well. Dafoe is perfect for this role as Van Goth the colors and enhanced scenery are spectacular! They really captured the soul of Van Goth paintings and his struggles with mental illness which their was no medications for back then. I can tell this is going to be one great film 🎥
