Seeing and hearing the rumble of the other planes taking off knowing your next is an amazing feeling
I know right. I've always loved that.
Love the Genx 1b engine growing on ears! Take off sound is such a music for me
It's a very nice sound. Not too loud like the 777 GE90, not the whistle sound like the Airbusses tend to have. :-)
Such a beast! You’ve perfectly captured the sounds of this amazing aircraft, thank you!
i added this video to my best aircraft sounds
The engine start is so subtle for this model, even the takeoff. What a plane! What’s with the loud hydraulics though 😅
These new engines are super quiet. Compare that to a 777😣I was thinking exactly the same about the hydraulics. I guess it's the same on other aircraft, but because the engines are so much quieter, you hear the hydraulics better..?
great videoliked and subscribed :)
why did the 787 starts the engine simultaneously instead pair by pairs?
I don't know 787 procedures. On the 747 we start 2 engines at a time if: *below 5000ft elevation *below 35°C

What was your seat number on this flight ?
