Nice video, but the only thing I noticed wrong, is that you tell us to connect the factory sub amp to the rear output of the stereo. The factory sub amp should actually be connected to the SUB OUTPUT of the stereo. Otherwise, your sub control options on the deck will not work on the sub. Also, by connecting the factory sub amp to the rear output, whenever you make adjust balance or fader, it will affect the sub amp. You avoid that issue if the sub amp is connected to the SUB OUTPUT, as sub output is not affected by the adjusting of fader or balance.

What year is this for?
all panther bodies before 2001
Hi, where can I purchase one of them stereos and what's the correct spelling of the name of it I'm in the middle of installing a double DIN it was just yesterday in my 1999 Mercury Marquis and I ran into that problem but I do not want to mess with my air conditioning that's far more important than the stereo
What did you choose ?
@@xxf3aredkillaxx719 I and up installing a kedela 7001 reciver from Amazon so far it's doing ok I paid $119.00 for it an I like it
Great video but the only thing i wanted to see you skipped!!! I want to know how the dash kit actually locks in to the dash and you skipped that part.
You just push the radio in with the plate on.... It's straight forward. It will clip when it's in
@@RaymondUrias Ok thanks for that and i assume it unlocks with keys of some sort? My install is different i just put a 10.1" touch screen from Eonon in my dash it's just sitting there no problems with it moving but i'd like it to be locked in. Anyway thanks for the video man!
@@TheGdiddy35 I would have to pull the dash panel out. I screwed the stinger template directly to the radio
But I love my Merle Haggard cassette!
Just pour yourself a tall glass of Jack Daniels and listen to his music and you'll instantly feel super depressed
What color do I hook the blue wired to for the amp ?
It goes to nothing
Dear Raymond , please give me the Model Number of the ALPINE Radio. Many thans :-)

@@RaymondUrias I've been trying to find out what size speakers are in a 2000 mercury grand marquis and does it take a single or double din and what harness do I need ...ive been searching for like 2 days now ..
@@cali8221 Grand Marquis is the exact same as this vehicle. You can do a single din or you can do a double din. The choice is yours. This video shows you how to do a double din. For speaker sizes, it depends on which trim you have. I would recommend going to the crutchfield website putting in your car's information and it will give you all the parts and pieces you need
That’s the exact factory stereo in mine . 01 MGM . Don’t be like the idiots that cut the HVAC !
Also, welcome to 2022, the car is now worth more then a dollar...the market price exploded over the last couple years.
But if you want a dvd player such as myself going to have to do a bit of a cut and duct tape.
I swear I wish yu was in North Carolina cause these jokers trippin
Way too many wires, connectors, and connections could be a nightmare to troubleshoot I’ll stick with an Fm transmitter and play through the phone. To each his own I suppose.
It's the twenty first century not the twentieth. The 1900's was the the twentieth.
That kit looks bad - the corners don't match the Lincoln dash.
Your mistaken, my grand marquis has a full double din opening its an 03
This is a 2000. They changed the dash in 2001. You don't need to trim
@@RaymondUrias you do gotta trim but the inside is NOT interfered by the a/c
@@robertvilliard6768 I had gaps on the left and right in my 2002 grand marquis. Did you and if so, howd you fix it.
The Dual radio has a beauty ring that fits around to fill that!
300$ radio wtf
I use 4 nails to pop it out...no need to buy the tool
Found out the secret to Donald Trump's hair yet? 🧐
In 2020, $70,000 paid to style Trump’s hair for television, claimed as expenses.
This video is long for no reason. You talkin TOOOOOO damn much bro
Too much cutting must be an easier set up
This would have been a good video had you not tried to explain it like an incel.
To much talking
What radio would you recommend for a 2007 mercury grand marquis?
