- This week, Kevin is taking a look at the Worst Power Rangers toy line, the Mega Construx Power Rangers line. These super generic mini figures and goofy zord building sets just don't cut the mustard.

Remember getting Shriek from Woolworths back in the day! Noticed that Raziel a few vids back! Looking forward to seeing it!
I watched all of your old videos in the beginning of last year. When you were playing with all the toys and doing all the voices and sound effects it was hilarious, I loved it.
I appreciate your dedication to that endeavor!
2:41 thats not the power rangers song, thats the angry video game ranger song. 😂
It sure is.
It's funny how you said you are not a big transformers collector, but still have 2 soundwaves and you were planning on buying a third, oh the life of a collector, haha
I have Masterpiece, G1, and a boxed reissue. If I bought the new reissue, I'd open it and display. I have a dozen or more Transformers.
When I was in the Lego stuff, I was really wanting to track down the mega Bloks Megazord figures.
Pegwarmers x Power Rangers? You know why I’m here. 😎
I try to vary up the toylines, I talk about.
I have everything you shared. The zord sets could be combined for a bigger megazord. I have the then downloadable pdf of the instruction. I just used all the unique parts and my Lego to make my own version.
Mega Bloks made sets based on Ninja Storm, Dino Thunder, and SPD back in the day.
Wow, SPD?
@@Pegwarmers Yup.
The Ninja Storm ones were the best ones IMO. They actually made a big set based on Ninja Ops which came with all 6 Rangers and Sensei figures. They also made a pretty good Storm Power Megazord as well as the main three individual Wind Ranger Zords. Man I miss those.
@@RondoOfBloodX cool!
I actually had SPD Blue as a kid, the helmet was super accurate!@@Pegwarmers
The Megablox Ninja Storm playsets were great, and the minifigs were definitely better than the later rounded figures...
The ninja ops is worth picking up, and you can even combine the individual weapons just like on the show!
Sounds like they cut corners on the later releases.
I feel, like, as a kid I would've loved these.
That is who they were aimed at.
I had the Super Megaforce Ultimate Battle pack when I was a lil kid... I lost all of the pieces
Is that the set with the Rangers?
No worst is the current construction blocks power rangers sets. They are hot garbage
You mean the Forever Clever sets?
Hey Kevin playing devils advocate here but the MMPR was a after thought and didn’t want to invest a lot into that line, Mattel’s focus was more towards their successful Halo series I had most of the Mega licensed lines MOTU, TMNT, MMPR, COD, and Halo.
Lol so just coming to their defense but believe they up to now make a lot of mistakes 🤦🏻
They didn't treat MMPR like an afterthought when it came to Imaginext
Go go power rangers
i got the megabloks set of Abaranger (dinothunder) playset and some ninja storm megabloks figures
Do you like them?
I really like your silver ranger figure animation thing that you did with the diner charge figures. I still watch that video series every once in a while.
Nice! I'm glad you enjoyed it. They were fun to make.
If you want really bad Brick Power Rangers sets, look at the Forever Clever line. So bad, they had to use other toys to trick people that the builds would look like that.
I need to look into this. What do you mean by other toys?
@@Pegwarmers like the diecast toys on the front and a small picture of the actual toy in the corner.
You can find them at 5 Below
@@AkumaTh really!?!?!
@@Pegwarmers Yes. Google search and you'll see.
LEGO would knock it out of the park, but it’s not up to them; it’s on Hasbro to want to reach out to collaborate.
True, but these are from the pre-Hasbro era.
I actually enjoyed all of the mega blocks power ranger stuff I only ever got the white ranger in blind bags but the mega force and samurai stuff was fun the criticism seems a little harsh
I like the blind bag mini figures ,
I like blind bag figures, but they cheaped out on these.
@@Pegwarmers I got a putty figure with some little knife, I thought it was cool.
You never still made the power ranger that you're saying in the video it's a different thing
You clearly haven't heard or maybe you did heard of the Forever Clever PR sets which are even worse than these ones, like they made the Megazords, the separate Zords, and the Rangers bikes, also they did a G.I Joe line too.
I've seen the GI Joe line. Forever Cleaver did the zords?
@@Pegwarmers Yeah you can search it up on Google and see it.
Yeah Transformers my absolute favourite toy line! Followed By TMNT and then He-man!
I try to get some representation of other lines on the show.
I never bought anything from that line as I thought the company produces bootlegs and forgot it totally until now.
I avoided the brand for a long time. Their modern stuff us pretty good. This was from a transition period.
I’m not into Power Rangers but yeah these do look pretty bad
The worst...
