- In this video we will see how to make thadiyangai sweet recipe in tamil. This sweet is also called as Agra Petha or White Pumpkin Sweet or as Ash gourd sweet. Basically we make a sugar syrup and cook chunks of white pumpkin and it soaks up the sugar syrup and transforms into candy. It's a very easy to make recipe and brings back a lot of good memories.

Ingredients:
1 Kg Ash gourd (white Pumpkin)
1 tsp Limestone powder (Chuna)
4 + 4 cup Water
1.5 cup Sugar (300 g)
1/2 cup Water
1/8 tsp Cardamom powder
