Sir Skittles, you definitely shouldn’t feel bad for downsizing. With what you do on YT it makes complete sense for you to downsize every now and then.
Also when you do your collection video could you just do pops that you don’t see yourself selling anytime soon if that?! Like pops you wouldn’t even think about getting rid of. Even after your done with YT funko 😅
And I personally lost interest in MHA as well. To me it just seems like they are dragging it on. Got rid of my MHA pops lol.

I completely understand this! I recently sold most of my Funko collection, and after parting with nearly everything, it really opens your eyes up to what you truly like! The only pops I regret selling are some of my Fruits Basket pops, which I'll probably be on the lookout for again. I really don't feel the need or desire to repurchase everything else. At this point in my collecting journey, I am the total opposite to this. Like, I get distressed knowing I have an incomplete set 😂 Maybe this will be me in a few years 🙏❤
What I do, I ranked a character, one out of 10 and if it doesn’t get a lease eight, I do not buy
My thing is I just think about not getting it and if I don't care I don't get it

I would finetune my collection, but selling the ones I no longer want is the roadblock I always arrive at. I live in a small city where using the local marketplace isn’t successful due to no one else really collecting. That leads me to selling online and I just don’t know where to start. I don’t want to have to go pay any seller fees..
Cleaning out the collection like this always makes me feel better about my collection overall and appreciate the ones I keep more. I've always preferred having a smaller collection anyways. I think I have around 50 pops plus some other things
Especially when moving to a smaller space, it's essential to purge your collection every once and a while!

I like this thought process because i did this with my pops too. I need to reconsider which pop i enjoy the most
I have actually gotten rid of majority of my game/movie collection (except grails) a month ago as well. When I first started collecting Funko, I decided to buy Pops of my favorite characters from every games I played and movies as well as animes I watched. But eventually I lost interest in games/movie pops and they ended up on storage collecting dust. I handed over more than 30 Funko pops to local charity feeling it would be better off in hands of those who actually want them.
And I too have been hesitant to purchase MHA pops lately. I love MHA and still do the point where I'm watching season 7 every Saturday. But, plot felt rushed for me in Season 5 and lost some interest. Since then, I've purchased 3 MHA pops and hesitant to buy more MHA in future.
I understand your decision. Decluttering and only keeping what you love can feel freeing & reclaim space. Personally, I’ve enjoyed pops over the years but have been waiting for ones I love. Recently, 3 came out as my first purchase… Harpies Pet Dragon, Harpie Lady, & Cresselia. They’re the only ones I have and with how picky I am, I think I’m fine enjoying, just 3.
I personally collect things that really mean something to me or bring me memories from my child hood, but even like that its alot 😅
Exactly! Unfortunately, you just can't collect EVERYTHING you like, lol. Otherwise, I would have over 1000 pops.
I’ve been debating on selling part of my collection, and collecting more anime. I’m really getting into anime and I love how detailed the pops are compared to other sets. It’s a difficult decision so I need some time to figure it out.
I fully understand not wanting a lot of commons. I normally get the common at first to havt the pop and then get rid of it when I get the chase
Skittles ur the reason i even have my collection as your update and sales video always kept me up to date. But funko pop is so overwhelming lol im running out of space and to remedy that i had to sell a bunch and just open a bunch of them to keep them out if box in a bin i can look through and sort with a portion of the collection in box and now i barely have the urge to buy one full price thats not on sale haha so dont worry we getcha especially when in the headspace to get rid of everything to make room and money
I understand you, because right now I am only buying certain funko pops of some characters that I only like and I try not to repeat unless it is a new mold or I have not gotten that figure, either because it is very limited in terms of limited pieces
I understand the feeling. Going on 10 years of collecting next year, and the collection has changed So much since then. Just recently got rid of 5 pops, which might not sound like much but it still took a lot of thought to get there. A lot of things have been sold, donated, or pawned over the years, but at the same time I have a few things currently on pre-order 😅
I watch this video and realize just how hard it is to let go of my collections.. it makes me think the time i bought the pop and wonder how am i supposed to let go of it.. Downsizing is hard 😢
I have one of each character of MHA. I have a really awesome OOB display. I sold my other variations of Bakugo, Deku, etc. The only collection I have multiple forms for is Naruto
You’re doing great man! I do collect pops of my fav character, anime etc and in one version only. That’s why I’m always selling and buying pops which is truly fun ❤ now I’m at 204 pops in my collection and everything has its own space to shine ✨

I definitely understand and until I move I am picking with my pops because once I get to the next place I will go through them. My collection has definitely overwhelmed and I learned I want to focus more on my vinyl and gaming collector’s edition collections more than my Funko. I think I’m going to gut a lot of it esp since I know I’m wayyy over the 500 pop collection, idk how Top Pops deals with his collection that consists of 4K pops😂

I have barely over 50 pops and i feel overwhelmed sometimes (almost out of room) so i cant imagine when having hundreds lol
i just collect the main characters of the animes/shows i watch. And i also collect one piece cards but im only trying to get the ones i want now. I will only buy a box if there are a few i want in there. also have a view figures on top of my shelves reflecting each anime displayed under it. then i put posters on the wall behind the shelf to also reflect the funko pops and figures displayed

I am in the same boat as you, I have close to 100 pops so it’s not as big of a collection as yours.Though I have been sort of stressing about space and contemplating what pops I truly want in my collection. Right now the main lines I have are Naruto, Bleach, Black Clover, Demon Slayer and One Piece. Thinking about sizing down on Naruto but it is hard to do so, like I have three Obito’s but I love each one so much from the Tobi to War Mask and then him unmasked. Gonna have to take a hard look and make some cuts. I am still trying to sell my Full Metal pops that I decided I no longer wanted a few months ago so that’s also an issue I run across when I finally do make my choices.
Did a purge myself Thursday. I am going in the same direction with collecting more high end pops ( especially since prices have dropped some)
i used to have 50+ pops in past now only got 20 or less maybe as very rare i buy pop, as must like it alot to even consider buying it in first place.
@@ravenspurplebeats5412 I got close to 300 pops but sadly little by little I've noticed I have multiple of the same pop I had damn near 60 pops (trash) from mystery boxes. Ngl I kinda was disappointed with myself so a purge was needed. And I feel better 😌

From my collection, MHA was the first one I decided to sell all of as well as a big chunk of DC and all of my Marvel. My DC Comics collection is much much smaller now. Now I just mainly focus Anime, (depending on characters) and now I'm more into statues ❤
I only have about 60 pops (mostly Naruto) but recently, I have been wanting to create my own custom wanted posters. The more I look at my Naruto collection, I realize that I only want to keep the Hokages, chases, and Akatsuki pops. I really like this video because it shows me that its ok to let go of some of these pops because although it might be hard, you can always go back to them some day down the road.
I only buy items i like, but out of the 50 funkos i have, i dont mind selling or getting rid of 5-10 certain ones. The last funko pop i want to buy is the gamestop Gear 5 Luffy coming out in 2 weeks.

I felt the same way I recently sold 400+ Funko’s and only kept the ones I liked the most,and most are limited pieces now I have only 55 Funko pops in my collection.

I totally understand you with MHA,I’m struggling to watch the current season because I have already read the manga and the pacing of this arc so far is just as horrendous in the anime,my Crunchyroll membership expires at the end of the month and since Konosuba and Hashira Training will most likely be over by then I have no intention of renovating it just for MHA so I can safely say I’m done with the series since the manga is finally on its final chapters,literally the only scene I’m looking forward to seeing animated from this entire arc is the climax…
i understand where your coming from, like issue with theme like mha & say pokemon line is too many pops and variations of each character now and wont stop any time soon. like i got flocked umbreon & normal dragonite pop because there some of my fav pokemon but dont have space or even want to put funds into getting all pokemon pops as more rather put more money on lego myself. Also my only complete pop line i won is invader zim because its rare they do pops for it so easier to keep up with.
As a huge MHA fan, I understand... As Pops as much as I enjoy having them it can be overwhelming. You have to really consider if it's a want or need* (never a need LOL). Also I hope you can get some rest, I feel like pop buying is an addiction and then its a habit of organizing then hoping to sell them off so you can reutilize the money :( I wasted a lot of money over these years... :(

You are valid for getting rid of MHA pops, but I don't really like the show at all so I am biased. I don't really care for Demon Slayer either, but they have some of the best looking pops in my opinion so I wouldn't blame you for keeping them. Honestly if you have any copies of a pop that has a GITD edition, just get rid of the normal one and always keep the glow imo. Most metallic pops you should also get rid of cause idk I think a lot of them look pretty bad compared to their normal counterparts. One Piece is something I am currently collecting right now so it is hard for me to recommend any you should get rid of haha. Love the Spider-Man collection even though I mainly collect anime.
