Respect to you for doing this. As someone who enjoys collecting in general, it is hard to let go of any items in your collection but sometimes we have to do what we have to do. It takes lot out of you to get rid of stuff you really want to keep but respect you for taking action by putting 'em up for sale. I too have pops that interest me no longer but too lazy to sell. I believe as you start your collecting journey (Not just pops. I used to collect Fragrances too), you learn how to spend your money and be wise about your purchases.
Last year I got rid of close to half of my OG Pop collection, and replaced them with autographed Pops! I just no longer had the display space most of them, so why not let someone who actually gets to see and enjoy them give them a better home! lol

I downsized my collection recently, focusing only one 2 sets to complete. And then also dropping my Stranger Things collection to just one Funko per character now.
Great way to do it, respect to you for being able to do 1 character.
This is why I’ve kept my Pop collection to 15 or below. I just collect the Pops that have sentimental meaning to me - whether they were childhood cartoons, or video game characters that I was really attached to such as Soap MacTavish, Edward Kenway, and Geralt of Rivia. Oh, and can’t forget Ichigo Kurasaki, and Lion-O 💪🏼 to name a few.

@@SkittleRampage I’ve learned to cultivate a smaller collection over the years, most likely due to my luxury watch collecting habits from back in the day. It’s definitely tempting to want to go crazy and buy 100 of the coolest Pops I can find though…can’t lie.

As a collector myself of other collectibles, I've learned that once you've scratched the itch, you are just off to the next one. Thats why it is important to try to control, otherwise, you'll just end up with so much stuff that either in order to get to the next big thing, you have to sell because you are out of space, or because of other financial obligations.
do you collect for the pure purpose of art and aesthetics or funko pops from your favourite series and movies? cause I see many collections and It's crazy Lmao
@Mari-yr1wk I used to collect batman funko pops. I then started collecting horror, then gi Joe's. But seeing where funko was headed, ie. Putting out nearly every pose and variants of the same character just to milk the collector, and how common funko pops were getting to be, I decided to stop. Same goes with my Joytoy Warhammer collection. Too much products, and re releases, I stopped. That was even not collecting everything. Just a few guilds.

p.s. I got rid of Bugs Bunny from Space Jam 2 'coz he was alwasy falling too big ears, no stand ... Funko needs to do better job at this.

I have the Gwen comic cover and debating on getting a regular pop of her. I have boxes of pops that I have separated for swaps. The only Goku doing Kamehameha is the diamond one and the new metallic Tbundle
Never understood the need to get rid of your collection. Maybe a few pops but to get rid of large amounts of pops? Just why buy them to begin with
Cause as collectors we sometimes buy things that at the time we like but overtime we change our mind and want to get rid of Funko Pops we don’t need anymore to get other Funko Pops that we rather have more, SkittleRampage even explain why he’s getting rid of some of these Funko Pops, like some he’s getting rid of cause he just doesn’t want them anymore, he has a bunch of Funko Pops of that same character and doesn’t need that many of that character, some he bought just to do a TH-cam short, some are extra that he accidentally bought of the same character, etc. there’s many reasons why people down size their collections

A couple years ago i completely got rid of my Funko collection, i stayed out of the Funko game for a year or so, but got back in the game, granted alot more selective, I probably have roughly 30 Funkos
I am selling some pops of my collection but now i started to buy, sh figuarts, figuarts zero, vibrations stars, ichiban kuji and also i do want a good statue to feel complete😂

I had to delete drip. The crashing and not many sellers made it not fun. Whatnot is so much better

I’m very selective with my Funkos as I only collect anime like OP JJK BC YUGIOH FF and KH, so I don’t have this problem 😅😅. As the QOTD, I’ve only gotten rid of my AoT line that I had as I don’t see myself continuing the line but that’s about it.
Well, a lot of it was collecting over almost 7 years haha. I heavy was collecting every single pop in each set in the beginning.
I just got rid of 75 pops most likely gonna get rid of my MHA pops also not a fan of them like I was back then
I extremely downsized on my mha to just characters or molds I like. They made way too many of them.
