I just go a rifle that my grandfather brought back from Germany after WW2, my uncle passed away and I got the ammo he had reloaded and the dies etc. inspected the rifle, checked good, fired four shots, the fourth shot the case ruptured just above the rim. I was very glad I had on gloves and eye protection. I will be very hesitant to fire again, but I am sure I’ll do it.
Great video. After shooting, do you just have to clean the bore or does fouling find its way into the action?
Finally after many years I bought a wonderful Mauser 1871-74..... It's a fantastic rifle!!! Greetings from Italy!!
Thanks for watching. That's awesome. I hope you're still enjoying it and greetings from the U.S.

Thanks for watching. Congrats on your heirloom. That's a bummer the case blew. I'm glad you're OK. Once bitten does make people twice shy. 🙂
Beautiful rifle, where did you get your brass from?
you can reform .45-90 by turning the rim to 15mm dia then lube and resize. 11.15x60mm.
Awesome thank you@@RabbitusMaximus
Beautiful rifle
Thanks for watching and for the reply. 👍I actually have 2.
Black powder should be measured, not weighed.
What a joy, does bp kick more than smokeless
No wads? Great video, great old gun!
Thanks for watching. No, I didn't use any wads.
You only need wadding if there’s an air space in the cartridge.
would you want to sale this rifle let me know
