It is a thrill to watch good people learn and I will never get over the light in your eyes when you learn something new. I'm sooo eeiiiii happy for you.
They're not my pigs and I'm already attached! I wouldn't be able to eat them later, they'd end up as pets 😅 I appreciate seeing them raised in a humane and caring way. You'll be a pig wrangler in no time.
You are now an official pig herder. Congratulations. Do that with a few more animals and you will be on your way to becoming the next Dr. Doolittle. Best Wishes. Grandpa Jones. 😃
Those are good hogs. And most hogs have the same kind of disposition. Sure, you can find some mean ones on occasion, but most hogs are smart, happy and enjoyable when you keep them well fed and comfortable. I think you're hooked now.
Animals will usually follow the bucket so well done on getting the job done relatively painlessly. Your literal hands-on approach to them has paid off as it should do with all farm animals. 👍
Pigs are so smart, scratch their belly's, they will roll over like a pet puppy, I had a boar that was 400lbs just as tame as could be, just bc I spent so much time with him, good job, now they could stay out in that fenced in area bc they now respect the fence
Those pigs seem very happy..stuffing their belly ,taking a mud bath.. scrething their self's to clean their skin. Very clean and happy. Pigs..you can see how they already respect you .
Good job. Better safe than sorry. You carefully plan and then try things out. It is awesome that your family can trust you to make wise decisions. It seems your whole family is the same. thoughtful and careful. I love your whole family. Penelope, you make me smile just a lovely child. Penelope is a greek originated name - meaning "weaver". Penelope has such a gentle spirit.
Jason, you and your family just made my day.. I am clapping for you for a job well done..Love baby steps!! They would have been fine out there all night since they are aware now of the electric fence..
Jason your great daddy. Your brothers are obeying you already. That premier fencing seems so easy to set up and have it electrified. Need to get myself a roll to give it a go to keep chooks in and have some BERNICES. I remember my kiddies making mud pies. Time goes by so quickly the kiddies grow so quickly. You and Lorraine are making some wonderful memories for Penelope. Great video, thankyou xxx
This is a great video. For a complete newbie like myself and I'm sure for others, it's what we need to see, to say "Hey, I CAN DO this." It gives me so much encouragement. Well done family.
Watching them pigs is kind of relaxing. When the pigs do what you want you feel like hugging them. It's good that you praised them. Jason you love it !! Good job.
Everything will be fine... the pigs are learning their boundaries . You guys won't be feeling unsure about the brothers for very long. Take a deep breath and have faith in yourselves, your doing just fine
Hello there I’ve been a subscriber to Justin Rhodes for quite a long time and I have recently subscribed to your channel for several months now and I’m really liking what you guys are putting out there on TH-cam. You guys inspire me everyday to keep bettering my self to have a better and more sustainable homestead!!!! To help build a better and more awesome bond with your pigs you should go out and buy a horse brush and bolt it on the the front 2x4 they will love you for that!!!! If you decide to try this and do it would be so cool to get a shoutout!!!!
Awesome. Great job!! The brothers have a caring, sweet Papa - I like that about you Jason. It is fun to watch the nervousness & excitement when things work out. Keep up the good work. ;) Bless your homesteading family. "Hey Brothers" shirts might be cool.
you should put a small cut section of fence wired up in the corner of the stall when you initially get them; they will learn about the fence from day one. Justin does this
You are so cute, like the new father of newborns. You soon realise thet you are over worrying. The Brothers are chill but you need to do the same. Remember that anxiety is one emotion that is easily communicated so you need to be a little bit more chill and all will be well.
I enjoy all your videos. It’s really a big change from being a “city mouse”, to a successful homesteader! The property and animals are looking excellent! You and your family are a joy to watch. I am homesteading right along with you from a city in Florida. I have never even seen any live chickens or pigs for that matter. 🙋🏻♀️👍🏻
SO COOL & CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!! You did so well & trust yourself more Jason as animals feel fear. This is going to be an amazing adventure. Cheers Denise- Australia
Jason, Lorraine and Penelope, you have the nicest pigs. You might think of a smaller waterer for the pigs too, like the one next to the green house. Best of Everything
This is so much like me and the barn cat I got to keep the rodents out of my vegetable garden. He can only be out for now when I am, to make sure he doesn’t climb over my six foot fence. When he is scared, he always runs to the house😀
Food is a Big Motivation for Pigs lol. So they'll follow you anywhere with food. Don't know what you have planned for the hill. But if they rut it down you'll have a mud slide when it rains if you let them Totally rut it up. Forget what you have planned. You tested the pigs the right way. Small move first. Try moving run closer to hill so when you make next move easier to get them to the hill. Stay Safe God Bless and Peace Be With You All ☮️🙏❣️
You worry far too much Jason but You like to do things right ..like a new dad 😂
It is a thrill to watch good people learn and I will never get over the light in your eyes when you learn something new. I'm sooo eeiiiii happy for you.
I love y’all’s innocence, nervous “pig parent” worry, and pure joy as new pig owners. That’s exactly how my husband and I would be. ❤️
It tickles me how tickled YOU are when you're able to move them yourself.
Jason, you are doing great with those pigs, such a well thought up system you got there! Pig paradise!
thanks man.
Sow the Land it’s apparent that you care...and that’s awesome!
If you lose the grass on the hill, it's going to be a real mess when it rains.
This is awesome. “Hey brothers” new shirt.
They're not my pigs and I'm already attached! I wouldn't be able to eat them later, they'd end up as pets 😅 I appreciate seeing them raised in a humane and caring way. You'll be a pig wrangler in no time.
Tiffany Cruz BUT.....Bacon‼️🤷🏻♀️
You are now an official pig herder. Congratulations. Do that with a few more animals and you will be on your way to becoming the next Dr. Doolittle. Best Wishes. Grandpa Jones. 😃
I really appreciate how much you all care for your animals
Just a quick thought. At the warmer hours check if the shade of the shelter is still inside the fences. It’s kind of obvious but easy to forget.
Those are good hogs. And most hogs have the same kind of disposition. Sure, you can find some mean ones on occasion, but most hogs are smart, happy and enjoyable when you keep them well fed and comfortable. I think you're hooked now.
Great job. They will be fine. I just found Sow the Land. And I love it.
Those pigs are going to love it outside!! I love Penelope !! It is always good to see her smiling face on the homestead!
I know how you feel Jason, always wanting to make sure your doing the right thing. Keep up the good work. Thank you for the video. God Bless.

pigs are known for being intelligent ) So cute to see them scratching against the shelter.
Animals will usually follow the bucket so well done on getting the job done relatively painlessly. Your literal hands-on approach to them has paid off as it should do with all farm animals. 👍

You did real good with your pigs. They are some good pigs. I love you call them brothers.
Good job...pigs are smart. It doesn't take them long to learn not to go near the fence. Y'all have a Blessed day.
The brothers seem very gentle.
Jason, you and your family just made my day.. I am clapping for you for a job well done..Love baby steps!! They would have been fine out there all night since they are aware now of the electric fence..
You can train pigs to a single hot wire at about 18” off the ground.
Jason your great daddy. Your brothers are obeying you already. That premier fencing seems so easy to set up and have it electrified. This is a great video. For a complete newbie like myself and I'm sure for others, it's what we need to see, to say "Hey, I CAN DO this." It gives me so much encouragement. Well done family.
I felt exhilarated the first time my piggy's followedcthe bucket. I was terrified they would not. Mission accomplished!
Each time they got shocked I jumped. So funny. It worked. Good job guys, your doing great
I jumped whenever the pigs got a shock
Watching them pigs is kind of relaxing. When the pigs do what you want you feel like hugging them. It's good that you praised them. Jason you love it !! Good job.

Grooving to the jazz flute, awesome choice for the shelter build😄
Jason if Justin can do it so can you 👍
Your growing your little farm.
Success‼️ you are getting more and more comfortable with having pigs. It won't be long and they might just follow you around like puppies.
Those are beautiful pigs! I love those ears.

The brothers seem to really like you👏👍 awesome job your doing with them! 🐷🐖
Jason you are doing it! piggies love you.
I keep hard boiled duck eggs for my pigs and use them to follow me into and out of pens. They go crazy for them and I have an endless supply!
The shelter looks great, be careful the pigs don’t get out and tear up your garden!! Happened to us. Love watching your channel!
Jason you’re so funny such a worrier just like a mom😂😂🥰🥰

well done Jason great job with the pigs
thank you Christa
I love their ears. He has a messy face only a mother could love, lol. Cheers from Sydenham, Ont, Canada.
Jason your doing great with the pigs. Pigs are very smart animals they say smarter than dogs. So not to hard to train.
Telling pigs to "Hold on" when you hold the feed bucket is like commanding the waves at the sea shore to stop.
I love your posts.
They really like rooting in the grass 😎
that was so cute..I jumped too when they touched the net, but they seemed very happy there.
Great work with the pigs....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great job with the pigs. You are doing great. Let's see how things go when going to the hill. It will be just as easy. 😀
Pigs are definitly kewl!
You can steer where they walk with a pointy rake..even a stout stick.

SO COOL & CONGRATULATIONS !!!!!! You did so well & trust yourself more Jason as animals feel fear.
This is going to be an amazing adventure. Cheers Denise- Australia
This was fantastic. Thank you for doing this. We get our pigs next week and this was my biggest fear, the initial move out of the barn.
Jason, Lorraine and Penelope, you have the nicest pigs. You might think of a smaller waterer for the pigs too, like the one next to the green house. Best of Everything
you have some nice pigs there going to get big 👍
Ok thanks. I could see the dog on it but I was never
able to read it. Thanks. Love the channel.
You look like you are getting more comfortable/confident with the pigs
Great video son I jumped every time the pigs touched the fence lol All of you are doing a great job on the farm.🧑🌾🐷🐔🐰🐽xoxo
