    This was so helpful! I've really been wanting to make my own patterns, but haven't really found anything that's helped me understand how to start. The only videos I found were basically just telling me to sketch it out, which I would have done anyway. This broke it down really well and helped me understand everything perfectly, so thank you

      Reagan, I'm so happy that it helped! I had help from friends when I first started and wanted to share what I've learned. I will continue to share what I know :) Thank you so much for your kind words and encouragement, I can't wait for you to start designing your own patterns for your small business. Best wishes my dear! xo

    This was SO SO SOOOOO HELPFUL! I love to crochet. Amigurumi is like meditation for me, and like, if I could make my own patterns? That would be even BETTER. This was AWESOME. THANK YOU.

    Thank you so much. I want to start designing, after making patterns from others for a long time. Thanks to your tips it’s less scary to start!

    This is soooo useful, I’ve only done my second project from patterns and I wanted to branch off and try making my own patterns, but it seemed overwhelming and I thought I had to practice other people’s patterns more. It’s nice to know I can try jumping straight into it as long as I have an idea, and I think I understand some basics of the crocheting now after those two projects. Time to figure out what I want to crochet!

    Thank you so much for sharing this ! It is so good ! I created my first Amigurumi when I was little and now I am falling in love with them all over again. Your instructions are clear and easy to follow and you advise regarding copyright is priceless.

    Actually, for me, coming up with ideas and sketching them is not very difficult. What makes me think is their patterns, I don't know how to write patterns, I don't know when to use this technique, when to use that technique 😢

    I don't understand why your video doesn't have more likes. This was super helpful!!! I've been dying to make my own pattern for a while but was too nervous. You've definitely helped me understand the shapes better. I do have one question though: What program do you use when you type out your instructions for people to purchase? I tried using google doc once and it was a mess.

    Do you apply a certain gauge to your designs to determine how big it will be?

    • @anniegurumi
      @anniegurumi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi Taneal! Thanks for your question. I actually don't do a guage but since I mostly work with the same yarns all the time, I kind of have an idea from just how many I've made. If you're using different brands or weights of yarns, I can see how it would be difficult to see. So I guess, I don't really know haha! :) But maybe that's something I need to research more in the future. Thanks for the question.

    I'm breaking my mind bc I've decided I want to make something difficult to explain by text, but I need help :')
    How can I make a pixel grid in a circle? I know about the web "stitch fiddle" but it only goes left to right / right to left, it doesn't go on a circle.

    Thank you so much for this video it really helped me a lot!!! ❤️
    Also
    To make a belly for a doll similiar to yours 6:22
    Could you tell me what's better pls?
    Adding increases just on the edges of the belly (around where the arms are placed) or adding them like you would do for a head?
    Cuz adding only on the edges will increase the stitches by 2 (and I think it makes the belly grow wider on the left and right sides)
    But by adding them head-like could increase stitches by 6, 7, 8, etc.
    I just don't know what's better for the belly of a doll or what's the difference between those two 😓
    Btw sorry if there's any mistake English isn't my first language 😥

    • @anniegurumi
      @anniegurumi  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you!!!!!’ I just did normal increases but it’s all an experiment! I wish I was an expert but I’m sadly not hehe. I wish you luck on your adventure in designing ❤️
