    Will the back seat windows roll down all the way in this Sedan? True or False

    Awesome, very popular @77, the Electra was shrunken, 77 Lesabre didn't til 78. Nice car.
    6 ventiports = V6???
    All the $$$ was spent on the exterior.

      All of GM's standard full size cars were downsized for '77. The luxury Eldorado and Toronado weren't until '79. The V6 wasn't offered in the '76 LeSabre but was in the mid size Century (It was super slow, my sister test drove one). They did offer the V6 in various sizes in the new smaller, full size cars.

    Absolutely BEAUTIFUL !! Is this vehicle still available?

    It's beautiful, quite equipped. But,what happened to the SIDE MIRRORS ,ROLLS UP WINDOWS, yet, power locks. It appears a 455CID engine, but, couldn't tell if it was a 2/4 bbl. ( too dark ). No A/C neither, well,to each his own. Great Luck.

    • @dc10fomin65
      @dc10fomin65 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      455 CID V-8, why only 6 port holes, 3 on each side, could it be a V-6? weird!

      @@dc10fomin65 to both of you:
      LeSabres always had 3 holes per side; Electras had 4. It was their way of showing which model was higher-end. As for the no air conditioning, yet power locks and 455, I mean, that's really the dream. Power windows are nice, but fuck, when they fail...
      Locks are handy, but if they did fail, you're not as screwed as you'd be with a bad window motor/regulator. And there's no way it's a 2-barrel (they're not Ford). 4-barrel and 400 transmission, no doubt.
      THAT'S a car!

    Oddly optioned car. It looks loaded out on the outside (with the exception of those tacky mirrors) with the cornering lamps, lamp monitors, and chrome road wheels. On the inside it is pretty basic with roll up windows, no AC, and vinyl interior. Very likely a specially ordered vehicle from a warm climate.

      Agree! The car is a stripper and an oddball at that ! That car would have rotted on the lot if a dealer had ordered it like that! As they say in the car business “ There is an ass for every seat”!

      Yes for the LeSabre. Oddly, The Electra got them a year prior in 1975.

    • @ImperialRadioYT

      @@stangslayerws6 my take on it was Electras, 98s, and DeVilles got the square lights one year newer, with Cadillac even having square bevels all the way back to '71 (I think). They' re supposed ot be the higher-end models, so they get the new, futuristic features.

    I had one.... it was like driving a boat. Weak V6 engine for the car’s mass. You could drive over the worst pothole road and not feel a thing.
