Cable is above par and on point with 7N copper. 7Hz sets a new benchmark here and not just for the cable. Timeless is flagship level tech. And very comfortable too.
Tough question as I like the S12 2024 balance. Where I hesitate, the nozzles give you options for metal. At the end of the day, if you go with Timeless II, similar planar driver, I would do what I said, play with the nozzles and foam.
A very comprehensive review. I do find the silver bullets to harsh with my music genre, mostly rock, prog rock, nu metal etc, but absolutely wonderful with Kate Bush, Joan Armatrading, even Tears for Fears. I like the soundstage it offers too. Wondering if I could temper the forward mids / highs with a more bass tuned tip? I have the Timeless original and I find their out of the box tuning with the supplied tips pretty good, but hoped to get a bit more oomph from the Timeless II. I'm sure they can deliver! The AE reviews hinted at muddy bass, and that won't do. Any suggestions welcomed m
I wouldn't say muddy is the right word, but overstep? Maybe. I am not an extra huge subbass fan either so I wouldn't bump it up more than it is. I might try pulling foam from one of the other nozzles and try using two in the silver bullet. I think I wrote it and then didn't talk about it. If you have a source with a slight upper mid emphasis, that doubles down on the silver bullet also. Changing tips might move the peak also.
Why is this not the new King? - what makes S12 2024 the king? - more referency tuning? - I prefer more customizable tuning. Accessories are better. Looks better. And should have a better driver too in terms of technicalities. So…
Kinda what I said, if you prefer options, Timeless is the better choice. For me personally, I tweaked Timeless to sound closer to S12 because its balance is spot on for me.
@PaulWasabii Thanks. Grreat time to be in the hobby. Can go both ways with one set. I love planars, all my life, so i'm still hooked to my Timeless OG. Think i may 'need' this II version too. Technical improvements (i expect) from the new driver might be small, but that is a big win in end game territotry. It's a bit like formula one racing. Love fast drivers.
@@PaulWasabii Got it, so you did not notice significant tech inprovements with the new driver? - you have the P20 too, how does that compare and could you share sometime how you modded that one - I believe it has the same driver as Timeless 2, No? - and for much less money - got mine for less than 70 USD.
Paul, please try how deep you insert the foam. This can change the 'air' also.
Good suggestion. I got it where I liked it and stopped But will try it.
Thank you Paul.
Nicely Done.
Great video
Nice review.. 👍🏼 Next, Tangzu Zetian Wu The Legend please
Don't think that is going to happen. Seems crazy bright.

Agreed. I don't use that many stock cables but that one is nice. 7N and modular
Is it better than the OG Artti T10 and/or the T10 Pro?
It is as you are basically getting both in one set. Some people don't know which they want and they like options.
November 2021: Long ago, 7hz Timeless was the only relevant planar IEM.
January 2022: But everything changed when the S12 nation attacked.
Probably more so S12 Pro. Small change opened up the market
In your S12 2024 vid, you said that iem was great for metal. How does this compare?

The pattern looks like my external HDD. In all seriousness these look massive and I'm not sure my ears would tolerate
🤟

Genre and taste i guess? I wonder too.

@@JRVick I am thinking the same. Have the OG, might be worth it to go for this one.
