As a dad who has thought about the fact that the home gym is something I'll get to pass down is truly awesome but passing on the lifestyle, the knowledge, and the passion for fitness that when combined is what's going to really benefit our children's lives. Oh and thank you for ABUNCH OF IDEAS!!!
Really enjoyed this video. I'm 67, and still working out. I have had my own home gym since I was 13 yrs old. Started simple with 110lb set from Sears. Bought a bench a year later. Friends dad made me squat stands from old tires rims and uprights. That worked for years. Eventually bought better bench and Olympic weights. Now I live in a one bedroom apartment. My living room is filled with Kettlebells, Steal Maces, Heavy Clubs, Bulgarian Bags and Power Blocks and a bench. Functional workouts now to keep me going. Congrats to your dad on a great gym. Best to you both.
Absolutely loved this video. So wholesome seeing how passionate your dad is about his gym. What a great example and inspiration to other seniors to keep active and strong.
I love this! Thanks so much for sharing, your Dad has an awesome home gym set-up and I"m similar in our space at home, using lots of attachments and getting creative with pulleys and different things. Happy lifting!
Love the foam roller hack squat - so obvious but genius no frills way to mimic a hack squat position - would to see how to scale this with heavier weight - as holding heavier dumbbells would place your grip as the limiting factor in this exercise. Interesting hacks for home trainers with limited equipment
I was looking up videos on what chapters to focus on for my nasm cpt exam. Im glad I found this video. I think this is my ideal dad, im a little jealous.
