This is going to sound odd, but I went to a psychic/tarot card reader yesterday and she urged me throughout the reading to start doing Reiki on animals. Firstly, although I’d heard of Reiki and knew it involved using energy in some way to heal, that’s all I knew, and secondly, I had no clue you could do Reiki on animals. She had no idea at the time that she first brought it up in the reading (because I hadn’t told her at that point) that I volunteer at a cat sanctuary as a “Kitty Comforter” and that was my job, to calm stressed kitties, sad kitties, sick kitties, etc. so I guess I’ve been doing a version of animal Reiki without even knowing it! After watching this video, I now understand why the psychic kept urging me to get formal training - which I am absolutely going to do. Thank you for this excellent video!
I've experienced that at zoo's too, I share moments with them, and they usually come closer, as if acknowledging me, and what I'm doing.

I love your question, Meadowlark. More than a "side hustle", it can become a beautiful full-time vocation. More and more people are recognizing the need for holistic care for their pets! In the Level 2 course, in addition to the advanced Reiki techniques, I teach how to start a thriving practice with animal clients. My mantra - I give my talents with love and I am wonderfully blessed financially.
She was a sceptic about reiki and healing. But she feel in love with a puppy at a rescue shelter and got a level two attunement. Funny she said i never believe in reiki, homopathic cures or any of this until now. She said you know i don't have a idea where life will go it opened a new door for me.
I can relate! I never heard of Reiki until I was 50. Then I turned to animal Reiki and it changed my life!
I'm currently working with my young Filly, she showed how special she was from the first day we met her and knew I just had to purchase her. She's been teaching me a lot, we are in the process of working together, so I'd love to know more.

Animals will lead us to the heart so we maintain animal heart connect. Lets addict the world to heart connect now. I felt very disturbed at world affairs and the hatred of duality. The animals never at of the fruit for the tree of knowledge. Never cast out of Eden. My life as a horse farm manager i learned i always felt the love. Childhood was dogs cats. and horses. I found move people want animal reiki than reiki for themselves.
I am in complete agreement! Animal Reiki has forever changed my life. Heart coherence with animals!

I've been practicing Reiki many years and I am now interested to do Reiki on animals as well as being a Massage Therapist. Thank you for this guidance. Reflecting on the Reiki principle of 'be kind to all living things', I'm curious to know if you follow a vegan diet or if you eat animals please?
If I could, I'd be an airatarian! I do not wish to harm any living thing for my nutrition. I'm not perfect, but try to eat nature's gifts of fruit, veggies, nuts.

My current furry friend (black cat of course 🙂) is the one who illuminated my gifts as a healer. I'm forever grateful for her sharing her wisdom with me.

I did volunteer at an Arabian Horse Rescue here in Oregon. I absolutely feel interested in learning to work with horses. Do you ever teach in Oregon? Or know of any horse sanctuaries here open to letting Reiki Practitioners practice on the horses?
