Naofumi, the shield hero, was the only one out of the four heroes at the start that didn't ask for anything when summoned. The other 3 refused to help right away unless they got a reward. Dang, even at the very beginning you can see who the real hero is.

I don’t really watch much dubs these days, but I quite enjoyed Billy Kametz’s performance as Naofumi when this first aired.
