@@m.a.2633 because if he did that, then the moment the queen died, the nobles would have been doing sketchy stuff. And I get that the reason that ves are legal in that fantasy world is for easier regulation, I get it, however, in that world, with the amount of hidden plots we have seen or heard about, yeah, no. The non pro queen royalists would have made his life hell. The peasants who did not care about, or did actually like the royal family in an idea would have not sided with the four heroes church.
They also would have been slightly pissed at the crown princess, which means once the blue haired became queen, her children would have succession issues.
U can't expect that if thousands sided to attempt to kill the heroes that u could just up and and hope the until recently 1-2 most hated of them to just kill a royal and no one get pissed about it or drag his name in a way it actively made random peasants try to kill him even if it were idiotic.
Until now he had dealt with judgmental peasants , and very few times ideologically caput fanatics, but those fanatics could become common place instead, which would mean that they would manage to slowly drain ANY help given to the hero at all... even his blacksmith by blackmailing his bakers or something
I do consider the previous shield hero to have done a previous plot, the trash king is also seen attempting to plot and cordially being stopped by the queen, the pinky magenta is also seen doing it various times, etc
Ps: I think that Pinky hair is a contradictory person which wants love but doesn't expect it to be real or worth anything

The 1 st season was the only good one, after that, it went straight to hell. Such a shame 😩
Something isekais are abusing, is the fact that one of the protagonist have to be royalty, Rapthalia story was good as it is.

They’re just teens, magically kidnapped from their lives, and forced to fight a war, where enemies should be monsters, not humans.
They mistakes, yes, but I see their confusion.
This series is why you wait till entire story is done before you invest your time in it. The ending to manga is such a flaming pile of shit it just ruined anime for me. I still can't believe that author decided to end it on such a wet fart of an ending. I hope Mushoku Tensei delivers descent finale to current cast and Branches out into multiple spinoffs.

Personally, I like the web novel ending. Secondly, the official Light novel hasn't been finished yet.
As a completionist myself, I've discovered this by doing most of the wrong choices of following series that never end... now I've learned from this and I won't beggin any series that haven't ended yet.
I think the anime took a different direction than the ln and manga so hopefully the anime can fix some of the issues of the manga and ln
