Yes, here is a link towards the playlist with all the videos: th-cam.com/play/PLkiEUIt2ncWTKq-hxCpdJckK3tvWBudur.html And on my website you can download the cutting guide: www.scrapandcoffee.com/blog/2019/11/17/coffee-friends-folio/
Hi, the folio cover measures 8x8" I guess you can make it work with a 6x8 pad (not sure if 1 will be enough) but you will have to do some paper piecing. You can download a free cutting guide here: www.scrapandcoffee.com/blog/2019/11/17/coffee-friends-folio/ So you can have a look at it before you start.
I found your channel when someone in a FB group I follow mentioned you. I love all your work! I'm sorta new and making my own books so forgive the newbie question. You mentioned the spine is 'craft x'. is that a brand of paper? I see that you have a playlist of 'flex folio' tutorials, and I will be watching those next. Its possible that the craft x spine is explained there...... Thanks for any help!!
Welcome and thank you! I'm always prepared to answer any questions! The flex folio is made with vinyl so that"s different. Kraft-tex is like a mixture of cardstock and fabric (kraft paper fabric) it's a thicker and sturdier material. I used unwashed 8.50" x 11" sheets (5 color sample pack) that I've bought on amazon, great to try it out.
@@ScrapandCoffee Thank you! ONE more question.... the Kraft Tex is only used on the spine, right? The rest is from heavy cardstock if I've understood correctly. My nephew is getting married this summer and I'm looking to make one of these as a gift for him. Thanks for all the inspiration!
@@GiGistitches Yes only the spines. You could use heavy cardstock for them as well, although the kraft-tex will be stronger and last longer over time. Sounds like a great gift!
