I got an error also for the import of his template. I found this to fix it! th-cam.com/video/b2hWtru3exo/w-d-xo.html Go to Dashboard - Elementor - Settings - Advanced and enable "Enable Unfiltered File Uploads" then saved.

There was a large recent update, I’m not sure if these are connected but try rolling back the version of Elementor

Thank you for all the time it took to make this video. It helped me a lot! If you're new to Wordpress (WP) like I am/was, I would rate this tutorial at an intermediate WP level. Suggestion: Become familiar with WP before diving straight into this tutorial (if you're a newbie :) as I got quite lost in the beginning but after a bit more practice with WP *I came back* to this video and it became a lot easier to keep up!

Hi Darrell, Great video. Moves along. Lots of others I look forward to watching. I am new to WordPress, but not web design specifically. Terminology is killing me! I kept backing up to clarify what I was hearing. Astra is a is a theme. But Elementor has themes. Then there is the theme builder. The header builder. And using an Astra theme with a Elementor theme. In the end I will just dive in, but I got lost in the basics. The terms. How they relate. If there is a tutorial that takes me back a step, I would love to see it. I also question 1000's of themes when Astra and Elementor seem to cover about everything one would need. So I won't even try to choose for now, but it feels like there are more tools than a human could possibly use. I'll watch more of your videos. They were very light and kept moving. Appreciate the fine work. I just need some terminology lessons to feel like I am moving forward with some intent. I don't want to end up with such a cluster than I am relying on reset. I want to feel I am moving forward with intent.
