bro some people out here getting carried to emerald or its just easily obtainable (not talking about you) but yesterday mopped the floor in power shift against a full stacked emerald team, with my team of rando bronzes and unranked. Make it make sense lmao Nice clips, you deserve your rank tho! I can't hit a shot with the slug shotty to save my life

Yeah emerald is just a time gate mostly. It doesn’t really mean you’re good at the game, just means you played a ton.

Sweats aren’t real. It’s a made up term to describe anyone just more skilled than you.
Play Skyrim if PvP games aren’t in your skill range

all it comes down to is being smarter😂😂 If your build is well balanced for your needs it will have a consistent amount pros and cons against anybody. Maximize the pros. Minimize the cons. Sometimes you may have to switch up your style when you know the sweat is near Lol no shame in that. Not only that but it’s a team game, u gotta learn how to weaken someone through their teammates if that makes sense. Can’t work everytime but keep your head on straight and you’ll find yourself winning against squads better than U

Idk this seems pretty average. Most of these clips are just taking fights from a high position which is pretty easy, effective, and the obvious strat everyone uses at higher ranks. Your gameplay is fine, but I see rando teammates in emerald hit the same shots all the time. But I guess a title of "basic emerald gameplay" probs isnt as enticing lol.

​@@realmaximusfps 00:00, 00:58 through 1:02, 1:20, 1:44, 1:50 through 2:05, 2:26 through 2:34, and 2:48. In every one you are playing and fighting at height (jump pads and higher floors also count as attacking from a high position). That is the majority of your clips. This is how most emralds play.

explain to me how my rando team of bronzes and unranked, (me being one of the bronzes cuz I didn't play much this season) absolutely mopped the floor against a fully stacked emerald team in power shift. Apparently the skill ceiling for the higher ranks aint all that high.

​@@SpaceKadetx Just because someone is in emrald doesnt mean they are good at all. Remember, you get to emrald rank just by playing a lot, not by having a great win rate. I have plenty of friends that are incredibly good at the game with nearly a thousand hours but simply dont play World Tour. So of course you will have great players in low ranks all the time.
However, at top emrald ranks, such as emrald 1, you more consistently find better players than you do in quickplay. This is obviously because the players in these ranks have a greater incentive to play the game more often, to cue with a team instead of as a solo, and to try harder to win because something is actually at stake unlike in casual modes.
So people use "high ranks" Like emrald 1 as the standard for suggesting something is played at a higher level because those ranks have the most consistent group of "good players". Think about it, if you are trying to talk about "high level play" you wont be very convincing if you say "well I see it in quickplay all the time".
