The neotec is running great, keep up the good work! At this point I think most of my future saws will be clones. Why pay full price for a namebrand when I can get the same power for a third of the price.
I bought a Neo-tec 92cc neo-tec bar chain but it's not resting properly on my sawhead. I bought a. 058 should I have gotten the. 063 ? Or do I have bigger issues with the sawhead? Thanks I love your videos 👍👍
G'day mate in Australia stihl uses 0.063 because of our hardwood. But I hope have right bar for your saw? I don't want to hear that you hurt your self cheers Kevin
I haven’t cut professionally in many years my favourite saw was a Partner (may have been late 70s?? Maybe mid 80s I can’t remember the model but she was a thirsty weapon it was old brand new stock 1 of. Fast forward many years later and an arborist got me onto an eBay MTM62SX cost $109… after a run in and a few mods cc for cc it can’t be beat BUT build quality 🤣 need to spend a few days on heli coiling the whole thing. Just bought a GIANTZ 88cc $163 eBay build quality far better very Partner Demolition Saw saw type similarities got it yesterday have ran 1 tank through it only but she’s a nugget at the moment. If I have time I’ll put up a post. Love your work
@@MrHangerone only iron bark here on my property. I have NEVER cut timber this hard in my life accept for 100yr old railway sleepers. If it ain’t tungsten you resharpen 3 times to one fuel tank and you learn pretty quick don’t push it or you’ll melt your bar. Gets more fun when it’s termite damaged. I don’t know if you’ve ever used a Milwaukee reciprocator before with Milwaukee blades but there general purpose blades can cut 3mm Z bar steel for about 1 meter before meltdown. Tried it on 1 log I was struggling with…. Melted it in about 2meters of cutting. Longer tungsten chain 3 tanks before a tiny tweak of the chain. That’s more than 9x Longer lasting than Sthill… Lost a few tungsten tips between those cuts but yeah impressive chains… 325 to small though the stretching is my issue. Light narrow and fast though vs 3/8 or larger on this timber I don’t know what other guys are finding but willing to learn cause this joint kills chains/bars/diamond wheels within days.

Why go clear to China to buy a piece-of-shit saw when you can buy a Stihl 500i?
It has more power than stihl 500 ,and 4 times cheaper. The downside it's Heavier cheers
Have to say, I ran four tanks of gas through my brand new 500i and sold it. The pig wouldn't start when warm. @@MrHangerone
