Pascal,.you have a beautiful talent. I started this little adventure because I am renovating a camper and hope to one day be a nomad traveling the US in my travel trailer and staying on public land for free. Like yourself, I've been extremely unhappy with my work. I'm happier now because I work for myself cleaning homes and have way more free time, but my body can't physically handle it at my age so I have to find a better way of life. It will take me at least a couple of years to get where I want but I plan to film the adventure along the way and I would like to at least attempt to do it right. After watching a few of your videos, I realized how much fun it is.going to be figuring it out and learning a new skill. I enjoyed your story and I am extremely happy your amazing talent has flourished for you. Thank you for sharing it with the world. I look forward to the class I purchased!! Thailand is beautiful and good for you for taking that leap. I know I wish I had done so many years ago. Happy trails!

I am just barely getting into videography. I rewatch your videos multiple times wishing I could get the footage you get and then edit them the way you do. Thanks Mattias. I'd say it's not about working harder but smarter. Harder means you get burned out instead of enjoying it. Finding ways to enjoy the work is key.

How do you get all your shots with you in them? Especially up on high lookovers where the camera is moving but you aren’t holding a remote?
I think the shot you mean is where I watch over the city right? I actually hold a remote in my left hand and press the stick down. My body is in between the drone and the controller. So you don't see it. Others are either tripod, slider or someone else helps me.

I edited lots of videos over the years and always tried my best. It’s no magic, just doing.

How do you handle the attention you get when you pull out your large expensive camera? Any tips on how to avoid theft while traveling?
I usually don't notice much attention and never had any issues with theft. Probably because northern Thailand is pretty save. Just don't let the camera lie around openly and watch your bag.

It’s a sanctuary where elephants are treated well. no riding etc. It’s good to support them as otherwise many elephants would be poached in the wild.
