    The Cape Intruder immediately made me think of the man who lived off the grid as a hermit for decades. Admittedly he survived off food he’d pilfer from the kitchens of unsuspecting people. Quite possibly such intruder would take several minutes to check that his unwitting ‘hosts’ were sound asleep before rooting around their food supplies. Just my thoughts.

    CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN WHY I HAVE A PET PHONE?! 📱

  • @abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501
    @abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501 2 ปีที่แล้ว +24

    Ok.. Electric Lady... i believe this. I also believe it can be inherited, and is actually a genetic trait that be dormant until something "turns it on" - high stress, etc...
    See, I'm similar (not as strong). My uncle (mother's side) has aspects, too.
    As a child, I could wear watches with batteries. Upon puberty, however, I'd drain batteries within a month. (Pre-cell phone, so you can imagine how frustrating it was lol).
    Uncles solution was to oy use a win-up watch. I pinned a watch (minus straps) inside a pocket of my purse.
    We both have an ability to set off those detectors that stores used to use at the openings (as the detectors got "better", it happens less often, but still does sometimes). That's the extent of what we "share".
    With the advent of LED bulbs (which I now use exclusively), this finally has reduced GREATLY. I've also learned how to calm myself down quickly... but until those LED bulbs became more common... I could "blow" a lightbumb by simply getting frustrated near it (it was above me, or within 10 feet). Anger caused the bulbs to explode. Regular incandescent bulbs were the worst for it, but florescent ones were also prone to it (I hate those bulbs - headache inducers).
    I have set off car alarms by getting angry and being "too close" (5-10 feet away). That still happens.
    I've screwed up computers and anything electronic just by touch. Thankfully, most devices are better shielded now, but I still don't touch expensive equipment when I'm frustrated or angry, and will actually leave any device I'm using at the time until I cool off (much faster now with the tricks I've learned lol).
    Sadly, my son also has the same problem with computers specifically (thankfully, not light bulbs or alarms).
    We have no name for this. We don't know WHY. It just IS. It has, however, taught us to rein in our emotions and wait until we're away from items that can't easily be repaired/replace before venting it out. Lol.
    And yes, non-family members/friends/strangers have all witnessed it. It was horribly embarrassing for me when I was 13 and caused an entire wing (total of 6 classrooms) of our school to have to replace all the (florescent) bulbs there just because I couldn't control my emotions. I was just glad that only a few actually SAW me get upset and the lightbulbs blowing (the one above me shattered - thankfully, it had that plastic covering to protect us) and put it together. Rather than have yet another thing to be bullied about, I convinced them (i think lol, they never brought it up again at least) it was just a coincidence.
    All our family can think is that we either have a stronger electrical field around us, or we are amazing electrical generators - or both.
    They would have loved us as batteries in the Matrix... hmmm, come to think of it, maybe that's why I was bullied so much... more power. Lol.
    ;)
    Seriously, though, it did suck. Still does sometimes when I go out & end up upset/annoyed/frustrated/angry and burn out an older-style bulb, or make a car alarm blare.
    Superpower? No... but it IS amusing to give static shocks to people even without the "usual" conditions (dry air, rubbing feet on carpet, etc). Not so fun to accidentally shock myself on metal... lol.

      That certain people are "electric" was well known at Stanford hospital in California. Some operating rooms measured peoples static before they could enter, as some people naturally blew out delicate equipment, especially in the early 60s and 70s when things weren't grounded well...

      According to my mom, who was french creole and American Indian, people who had this were very delicately balanced. Your emotions are able to focus themselves as a way of burning off excess energy...she said people like this suffered the stigmata of heightened psychic ability. You most certainly have very powerful abilities to read other people, which always causes stress, as most people lie about everything, not always for nefarious reasons, but to protect themselves. You can tell what is a lie and when someone is truthful. As painful as it is, it is a great powerful tool, you can learn to control and focus it, as a teen, it would be extremely distressing though. I have no way to prove these statements, just passing on lore from my mom and grandma. They were very good at knowing things they couldn't possibly know. My mom would jump up and run to the phone BEFORE it rang, she could sense the incoming pulse of energy. My dad was always very put out by it, as he thought logic and reason were important and ghosts, psychic stuff, etc., was always a disturbing force he would have ignored! Still, he respected my mom and was careful never to make her too angry. He was terrified of her in a way, which balanced out their marriage, he was spoiled and a classic 50s dad, my mom was very different, and I think they both admired the other for the things they lacked...anyway, you have probably figured out all this on your own, but don't feel weird or alone, you are in good company, Google the abilities you have, there are several examples...

    • @abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501
      @abigailphoenixthepaperaddi2501 2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@christineparis5607 oh wow. You've given me a lot of food for thought. I definitely will google this now, and what you added in here makes a lot of sense. I never put it together. I always thought my heightened awareness of others/ability to read truth from lies/huge intolerance to crowds (especially when they are riled up for any reason) was a product of my mother's... shall we just say "very poor parenting" combined with being (mildly) on the neurodivergent spectrum. I wonder if anyone has ever thought to or have tested the electrical field/currents of neurodivergents... it would be very interesting.
      I don't know if Uncle ever had premonitions, but I have many times. The very first time I can actually recall was when I had gotten home from school one day - I was 12, my brother (older) was upstairs, and parents were at work. The phone rang, and I knew exactly who it was... and why they were calling before picking it up (pre-caller ID). I answered, it was who I thought, and while my grandfather refused to tell me, I KNEW. I called mother at work, and told her to get home as soon as possible after work, because Grandfather had called. I didn't tell her that his mother (Granny) had passed away - he had seemed so insistent on keeping it from me, and I could only imagine what fresh heck would unleashed on me if I even hinted I knew before her. I just kept telling myself that I was wrong. Sadly, I wasn't.
      There are other strange moments, too. But one other that sticks out and now makes sense... I knew the very minute I had conceived. (For those going "ummm..." no, not during or even right after the "act", it was around 12-16 hours later as I was walking through the doors to work my shift.) It was the strangest sensation... like my hair felt as if it was standing on end, I got a huge wave of heat over me, and I felt like I was gonna puke and pass out. It lasted about a minute as I stood there in the doorway. A co-worker saw me and asked if I was OK (i'm pale to begin with, but she claimed I was ghostly and like she could see my skull behind my skin). I nodded, cus it was passing by then, and headed to the break room to store my stuff... all while muttering to myself, "you're pregnant... " I actually wrote down the time/date and basics of the odd feeling in my journal when I got home.
      6 weeks later, confirmed by blood test (I didn't trust the OTC tests I took - 2 said no, 2 said yes, 1 was a malfunction).
      That was how I know my son was born exactly 39 weeks, 6 days, 17 hours, and 27 minutes after conception. (Son has a LOT of 7's in his life... birthdate, number of letters in 1st, middle, and last name, and more)
      So... this information is surprising and yet... not. Like, it's waited for me to connect the dots but I never dug into it. Instead, I brushed everything into neat little "scientific explanation piles", and hid what I couldn't figure out under a mental rug. What's .... i dunno the word, but I want to put ironic although that's not really the best word... I've, over the past months especially, but for years, yearned for a tribal Medicine Man... to talk to, to ask questions of... to perhaps gain some healing. I'm only 1/32nd Cherokee, so I really didn't understand this. Now... I think it's another part of my personal puzzle.
      And I also wonder.. will menopause affect this... should be interesting lol.
      Will def explore this info more. It's very facinating in a general way, but also in that personal way.
      I hope you don't mind that I'm screenshotting your comment to mull over and remind myself to actually follow through with the research. =D

      I loved your reply because it's so rare to come across someone who grew up in a situation like yours. Because your mom was tricky to deal with, you probably, unknowingly, relied on your senses out of a protective measure. Coping with never knowing where you stood, and being uneasy meant your abilities got stronger without you knowing it. Also, menopause is kind of your transformation to a wise woman, the 3 phases of a womans life: maiden, mother, crone, or teacher, able to guide the younger ones. The great news is that you will always attract young people and those with similar abilities who will be drawn to you. I know boys have talents too, but they almost always have to hide or repress themselves growing up, so their psychic ability gets stagnated. You should read Clarissa pinkola Estes (I'm trying to remember the authors name!) Who wrote, "Women Who Run With The Wolves" she was indian and Hungar6or something, studied Jung and is also a story teller and interpreter of ancient folktales. It's amazing, you'll be nodding along, going, I get it! Because it really opens doors to what's behind old fairytales from a womans perspective. You should join an Indian group that does drumming and dancing and meets every month. It sounds silly, but I went to one in California and it was really amazing how included and accepted I felt! I live in Texas, and I know they have groups here too, and pretty much everywhere. Look up some groups, it can be rewarding to you for self discovery and just being able to be yourself. Someday your journey, everything you went through, will become someone else trail map, will help them navigate their own way. I found that the most traumatic experiences I had as a young woman (I'm 61 now), did the most to develop my empathy and compassion and understanding, it didn't embitter me as I was afraid of, but made me realize how strong I could be. Getting older is fantastic for that. One last chunk of advice: start painting or drawing your feelings and what you think your energy looks like. You don't have to have any "talent" because we all have soul and let yourself rage on paper. Draw your lifeline however you think it looks, write down what happened along the way and see how far you've come!! It's a very revealing excercise and makes you know, that at the core of everything, you were a survivor.

    • @kushaladaora9291
      @kushaladaora9291 2 ปีที่แล้ว +7

      It doesn't satisfy much though. Fatima, Portugal is around 16° to 23°C on average. Sun dogs requires -9° to -20°C for ice crystals to sufficiently appear to manifest such phenomena. The second explanation doesn't also satisfy me as the angle to which they are viewing the alleged holy image is from a low angle(as pre condition to the stated meteorological phenomena) but most pilgrims probably saw the apparition on the same vantage level, that is, on the same level of ground they are standing on, if not a bit higher, judging from the pictures of Fatima, Portugal.
      There could be other meteorological explanations to the events but those presented here does not satisfy the criteria sufficiently needed as the geographical location, along with its climate, is not taken into consideration.

    • @johndavies288
      @johndavies288 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@kushaladaora9291 The thing missed about the Miracle of the Sun that can't be explained by natural reasons is that the event occurred when predicted by three girls who had witnessed an vision of Mary stating that a miracle would occur on that day at that exact time. That's why the crowd gathered and it happened. I think it takes more blind faith to believe that was mere coincidence. Science can explain how the event happened but not why, at the exact time predicted. God merely used the natural phenomenon of the world as a tool for this miracle. Theologian, physicist, and priest Stanley L. Jaki states the same, concluding that by "divine intervention, a coordinated interplay of natural meteorological events, an enhancement of air lens with ice crystals, was made to occur at the exact time predicted, and this is the essence of the miracle."

    The static shock case may have been related to genealogy, which would explain why it appeared at different times. Maybe it is caused slightly like Huntington's Disease or similar genetic disorders, where a number of repeats in a DNA gene determines likelihood of it manifesting, and it appearing at different times. It would be interesting to look back through family records, see if it was maybe a DNA mutation that caused excess electric production or something.

    Our universe is theoretically endless with many “Goldilocks” zones (where life could flourish.) I highly doubt we’re the only life in the entire universe. Not saying they’re definitely little green dude with large heads, but I think it’s arrogant to assume we’re the only planet with life forms of ANY kind. Tardigrades (sp?) can exist in space and at the Mariana’s trench, and if I remember correctly, we’ve found bacterias in space. So it’s definitely not definitive that we’re the only planet with any life on it.

    The family from Australia suffering from persecution paranoia are not that unusual. Mob mentality is well studied, and not family shared delusions. I noticed several people I knew reacting abnormally (for them) when the pandemic settled in. Several intelligent, realistic friends were completely convinced we were all being poisoned and were going to be rounded up or that all the banks would fail and toilet paper would be the only currency. These were not neurotic people, but fear and the unknown had brought very buried fears to the surface...one of my best friends was sure aliens made us sick to study us, another was convinced our government was in the pay of Russia, etc., etc. My husband even became, after 30 years of being fairly liberal and open minded, suddenly listening to ridiculous uber conservative radio shows that promoted the wildest rumors and out shouted each other over the dire times to come. I really couldn't believe it. I didn't think any of those things and had always been sure a pandemic would occur in my lifetime, since my grandmother had lived through the 1916 flu and said it would come back someday, that it was nature. She also was sure this would happen when everyone became resistant to antibiotics, which pretty much happened, so being mentally prepared, I did not hoard anything, and tried to live day by day and not pay attention to rumors. It kept me from overreacting....

    I always laugh at the "ancient alien" ideas. Because we always assume no humanoid has ever existed before us, and certainly not one that may have surpassed our achievements. How arrogant.
    Here's a crazy idea to match it: What if, between the time since the dinosaur disappeared and the time of modern man, there was another whole age with another whole species (possibly humanoid, but not necessarily), one that built up a civilization just as sophisticated as ours, but also died out long before man emerged. We ARE talking about 65 MILLION years. Considering that man has only been in existence for 2.5 Million years (give or take), that leaves enough time for multiple other species to develop TO OUR LEVEL OF CIVILIZATION, die out and have almost everything about them obliterated. Evidence of this may be scarce-- or it could be erroneously attributed to "ancient aliens." Consider that only stone (and even then, only the hardest stone like granite) has survived any length of time. 65 million years is enough time for many "ancient alien" cultures to develop far beyond where we are now. Just look around yourself. If man were to die out, there is NOTHING man-made around you right now that will be here in a million years. Nothing. Myself, I think this is what J.R.R. Tolkien hinted at strongly in his LOTR books.
    OR, here's another possibility. Perhaps future men who have learned how to bend time have gone back to prehistoric times and left stuff laying around. That's always possible, too. LOL!
    Oh, and? BTW, you did not tell the whole story of the Miracle of Fatima. That is a very compelling story. But, was it the holy mother they saw? Or aliens... LOL! Which ever it was -- even just an odd atmospheric event -- it sure is interesting that it happened precisely when Sister Maria said it would. That is, when the holy mother had told her it would. And, no, that's not an accurate description of the events-- not at all. I've researched that story carefully. There is too much evidence and too many witnesses for it to be anything utterly natural.
    Who knows? Maybe someday a real miracle will occur and physical scientists will stop judging the non-physical by their own, limited standards. It's like trying to measure the speed of light by listening to it. When they do it, they always look stupid.

    I'm thinking that those 2 meteorite trails that seem to turn in sync likely didn't turn at all, but just appeared to do to refraction in the Earth's atmosphere likely between two different air masses. They likely entered at just the right steep angle into a pocket of warm air aloft and appeared to turn when they hit the boundary layer of the cold air underneath. This likely made it look like they turned, when they were both really still going straight. That's my hypothesis on it. 20:06

    if I were to guess, the green hue of the children was the diet, like science suggests... and as for the "twilight" place they came from, a lot of people from early early time periods like that, seem to overexaggerate things that happen or what they see... because obviously modern science wasn't there to prove it wrong, so everyone just believed whatever someone else said. So I'm assuming that what they said by "the sun never shines" and that they lived in a dark twilight town, they probably were just isolated from society in some cave, that they coincidentally just happened to find the exit of, and they probably were in that cave for a LONG time, so they probably never learned, or just forgot English or any other natural language

    To complete the story of Fatima, it was reported there were torrential rains that day, and there are pictures verifying that. As the sun was spinning, people reported the sun began dropping towards the earth, and people feared it was the end of the world. The sun gradually returned to its original place. Afterwards, people realized their clothes, umbrellas, even the mud they were standing on was completely dry, as if it hadn’t rained at all. All of this is documented in pictures from 1917. A miracle indeed…..

    How's this for a video idea. I want to leave a movie theory that ruins your childhood......
    After seeing The Angry Birds Movie several times, I think that the Birds are or at least were racist. The birds are colourful but the pigs are only green, and I think Red is most racist because he wanted to be enemies with the pigs . After that he convinced the community that the pigs are bad and wanted to steal our eggs, tbh I thought the pigs hatched oh sorry, birthed the idea of stealing the eggs after they couldn't take it anymore. And in the next movie they befriended just like now.
    So it maybe based of the racism that the black people faced or is it coincidence.
    Ps. I love the movie, it's just a theory..

You often see this in bogs but of course not to this extent. Good chance she might've had a natural mixture that prevented bacteria from deteriorating the body and allowing it to be preserved. The tromps may have went wacky due to mold in the house. I've read about certain mold affecting the brain depending on health and age. Pretty crazy BE AMAZED 0:26 - The Cape Intruder

      Is that confirmed, or is it just a theory?

    Some of those "scientific" explanations depend on so many calculated events working together and at the same time as a clockwork that the "science" behind them seems much more fantastic than the "mysterious" facts themselves. To deny that's impossible to explain some of those events with our current science actually takes more use of "imaginative science".

      Exactly. The thing missed about the Miracle of the Sun that can't be explained by natural reasons is that the event occurred when predicted by three girls who had witnessed an vision of Mary stating that a miracle would occur on that day at that exact time.
      So I think you made a good point. These were very calculated events working together at a specific time and in the case of the Miracle of Fatima, at the exact time predicted by the three girls.

    Sometimes my Oreck XL air purifier will spark as it draws in air. I spray some rosewater mist and it stops. I don't know if I need a humidifier to balance the dry air.

    For the "contrails" that run parallel and split, it can be from wind currents which are different according to atmospheric strata.
