    The "no-no" for sloped fields is interesting, up-slope fields provide great stopping distances. If I understand this correctly, the lesson is that the field viewed at 14:00 is unsuitable, which is madness, barring obstacles, you can start center and land safely both directions, or even downslope as the slope change is very rounded. In Norway, we rarely have such a thing as a flat field, up-slope on fields steep enough for the glider to roll backwards down it after landing is the norm for several of our clubs.

    16:20 The narrator says add 10kts for every degree of upslope. This sounds like too much. The slope shown in the picture appears to be about 10 degrees, so in this case you'd add 100kts?

    The video is very informative but it should have had a professional narrator, editor and scriptwriter. There's too much waffle and it's difficult to keep your attention focused.
