This setting could have really done with an excuse as to why vehicles sometimes don't work. Like if the "Chiral whatchamacallits Strandobites" or whatever made electronics or combustion engines unreliable in regions for short periods of time.

Well, that was a wild ride. I thought it reached peak weird when the baby living inside Norman Reedus gave me a thumbs up, but then Del Toro showed up in a red pleather? rubber? labcoat and strapped Sams dead mom to his back and sent him into the mountains so... yeah. Like, I know this was not intended to be funny, but I lost it when I saw the medical staff showed up in those shiny red pleather outfits.
I have to say, the design/concept of the ghost things is really cool. The wet handprints coming towards people just looks awesome. I definitely wanna know more about whats going on.

This game is like a solid Netflix series. This story is not as convoluted as I originally thought. It's slow pace makes it easy to follow. I can't wait to see more of this game. For being a post apocalyptic delivery man simulator, it's excitingly fresh.
If I wanted to watch a movie, I'd just go watch one.
Because Kojima wants his games to be like movies. You should see Metal Gear 5. Each chapter opens like a movie with characters names and everything.

Outside of that, following logical arguments : these are quite different technologies. Certainly, parts of these overlap, however identifying terrain strength and friction amount, having the hardware to adapt to a wide variation of it, having the logic to somehow detect and avoid BT's, and I'm just starting here. Consider corporations do most of that content nowadays, once the Death Stranding hit, pretty much all the surface world went into a cataclysm and had a hard time keeping track, staying alive. There's a lot more, building something when everyone's depressed, insuring supplies, materials and an underground surface, having the skilled staff to follow up on the respective content, and the list goes on and on. I'll be honest, I'm a few hours in, and I came here hoping someone could explain. Seriously, this story feels like an absolute trainwreck in a yarn factory. Loose ends, holes, and the writing is pretty hamfisted with exposition. If this game didn't have "Kojima" stamped on it, I'm not sure anyone would be paying attention to it. I mean, maybe it gets fixed later in the game and fills in the gaps, but I'm pretty lost.

I hope you realize by the next encounter the spinning wheel points to a BT, and the faster it spins or flaps, the closer they are. It was sooooo stressful watching you walk directly where it was pointing so many times.
Admit it, this game has one of the best ever photorealistic graphics among video games you've ever encountered. Every detail, no matter how little are pretty well refined.. From road cracks to even bruises on face and tear drops.. Insanely job well done, Kojima
