Protestants here, Methodists there, Buddhists over there, Hindus over there. Up the stairs they go and there's a big white curtain. He hears people praying and Charlie says, who's behind this curtain. God says, shhhhhh, they are Catholics, they think they are the only ones here! The western mindset is just like the Catholic's mindset( in that joke). Not all Catholics are like that for sure, there are many many funny and good Catholics.

True. There is an outlandish misconception that if Putin is removed Russia will suddenly become a liberal democracy, while in reality the most probable successor is Dmitry Medvedev, who is twice the imperialist Putin is. Navalny was a brave soul (especially protesting Putin's immigration policies, which are just as insane as those of Western democracies) but he never had a chance to win the presidency.
You'd think we should have learnt from Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya who didn't exactly became beacons of liberalism and democracy when the previous leadership was removed, but wishful thinking dies hard I guess.
Russia certainly has its own kind of degeneracy but that doesn't mean Russians want Western degeneracy on top of that. And Russia is an innately imperialist country. It has to be defeated on the battlefield.

    This is fascinating thankyou.
There was a tribe called The Barbarians but they weren't Scots or in Scotland.
The barbarian kingdoms, also known as the post-Roman kingdoms, the western kingdoms, or the early medieval kingdoms, were the states founded by various non-Roman, primarily Germanic, peoples in Western Europe and North Africa following the collapse of the Western Roman Empire in the fifth century.

It's always a great interview when James wears a Dapper jacket. I think that jacket gives him interviewing powers, not unlike Samson's hair was responsible for his strength. Has to be the jacket, James has very short hair. Anyway now that the important information is out of the way, great guest

What I enjoy about these Times Radio interviews, is that they are consistently wrong.
Their predictions do not come true, and the opinions expressed, have no foundation.
Nevertheless, they keep on churning them out, with a dogged sense of purpose.
They must think that if they believe what they are saying strongly enough, that it will all come to pass.

This guy is telling us about his wishes, not what is happening in Russia. Putin is liked by almost the entire nation. The most popular leader in our times, more than those who want to rule the world by force.

@user-ez6fl5ce9h putler wants to rule the world with force and constant war policy - crazy what crazy in the eyes of the free world - you have to understand the Russians because those who live in a closed space would only stay within their own borders and everything would be fine! a constant excuse to start an illegal war by any means necessary! unfortunate truth about Russians because they never know how to live a normal free life- the goal of a better life is just a war against everyone- the honor of dying as a young man for a monkey leader is pathetic!! Putler hates Democracy and free people! why? The West is the enemy! why? all are enemies! why? yes, the world has allowed the Russians to live their own lives - but a crazy leader interferes in the affairs of other people in the world without a valid reason... SO WHERE IS THE WRONG!! it is absolutely impossible for Russians to speak the truth!!!

I saw the exhibition at the British Museum only yesterday and it occurred to me time and time again how similar were the conditions of armies and wars in the Roman times and the present day, especially with regard to Russia.

how do you know what are the conditions of the Russian army??? From the western msm???? You don't get much proper information from it, only sheer propaganda. By the way our world's number 1 empire is USA and its slowly dying. That's the reason the Americans are so ferociously trying to cling to their hegemony and hate any independent countries, like Russia or China.
