- This video features the best long putters in golf in a head-to-head comparison. Long putters have become increasingly popular over the last couple of years in golf as players of all levels recognize the better of using a long putter and trying it out for themselves. But now that essentially every manufacturer has released a long putter to the market, which of the long putters is best?
In this video, 2nd Swing's Drew Mahowald is joined by master club fitter Jake Montgomery to test and review several of the best long putters in golf, including a L.A.B. Golf Mezz.1 Max, Odyssey Ai-One Cruiser Jailbird, PING 2023 Mundy, PING PLD DS72, Scotty Cameron Phantom 11 Long, and TaylorMade Spider Tour.

I want that jailbird cruiser
Highly recommend!
are any of these better for left eye dominate golfers? did you say LAB putters would help my too strong arc?
Scoty cameron works great for me , had it 2 months
Jailbird might be the best alignment tech since two ball. Broomstick seems to be an acquired taste but very stable.
It's superb and so easy to use! It's been great for me in my bag - Drew
Good video guys!
Drew definitely has the right putter haha
LOL, yes I do! Thanks for watching - Drew
I thought the ds72 came at 36 for the hovland set up
Kinda unfortunate that you describe the broom as good for people struggling. It is a different style of putting. I can putt with anything, but the broom is really nice and comfortable.
Thank you for watching! You're right, it's not just for people struggling with a standard putting method. It's just the most common transition we've seen in fittings as the style has become more popular
bought an old bag with irons for $30, in that bag came a odyssey versa broomstick putter. i just thought it was for a taller guy 😂😂
What a find!
@@2ndswing odyssey versa 7, i’m thinking of making it into a regular 34 inch putter.
The LAB putters need to have the proper lie angle to be truly effective. In your putts with the shorter Mezz you had the toe up which will pull the putts (which you did). I have the DF3 and when you have the lie matched to your setup/stroke it is magic! But that is generally true of nearly any putter!
Great point and feedback!
The effect that lie angle has on face angle when you're talking about 2-4 degrees of loft is basically nothing. He might be pulling putts, but that's not the reason.
With a 34% make rate at that distance I would have to agree with you.
That Ping would be a no no for me. Alignment line on the top edge is a must. Weird like that.
Based on the conversion percentage none of these putters are for you guys 😄
Mean 😂
Alignment stick would have helped. 🤣
The big guy teaches putting…..😂
YIPS...usually when u start missing a short one with a normal putter, it can spiral, and your technique is questioned and u worry about the result... can be a dramatic miss . Way worse when people are watching..😂 This change is an option instead of quitting ..
Lab 2.1 broom❤
Super stable, one handed underarm putting
I am glad to see that the golfing world is giving lab golf some love that the deserve.
For sure! And if you haven't seen it yet, check out the interview we did with L.A.B. CEO Sam Hahn: th-cam.com/users/liveYgIGKdbU8KI
You two are absolute hacks with putters...
Spalding balls ??????
Nope!
