I don't use any additives....
did you jack the Sienna up before draining the fluid?
Yes, doesn't matter though. If it's on a lift or not jacked up it will be level... drain is in the back of the pan so you'll basically get the same amount out either way. Checking the level when refilling should be done on the ground/level.
Do you have the torque spec for the drain plug?

Between 3.5 and 4 quarts.

The drain plug is 10mm hex socket
