My thought for mine layers is that it might work like how the blight does with porcupines. When you activate the blight and shoot a porc, the green fire is stored inside the porc, even when the blight perk is inactive, I believe that the cockpit will do the same. If you are going over 75, and place the king while boosting the extra damage will be stored in the active mine
Here's my issue... any practical implementation of this perk is limited to melee. Flying builds have been deemed "exploits", and only require one complaint to lock your ISP and profile. Even trying to use this with anything else, either requires insanely complicated trigger/control combinations, or is a waste of energy to gain any appreciable damage.
you dont use lances with boosters because you need the energy for the lances unless you do less lances but then there would be no point cause it would do the same damadge with more lances
What if you have an equal number of pairs of boosters where each one counteracts the other, so you can have a stable platform while moving and boosting? You could use boosters as pretty consistent damage modifiers.
Does this work with boosting into an enemy with melee weapons? Atm I am totally lost as to what the devs were thinking/drinking. I mean fair enough I can see the logic in adding a cab for race brawls to get races more popular. But having that cab also be capable of boosting damage is just nuts.
it is still WORST epick cabin in game in EVERY other aspect (other than boosting) lightest, lowest engine power, lowest mass limit, lowest tonnage.... It is good ONLY at speed and maybe air support build (better than harpy)
@@thanatossslay9819 Yeah it's stats are the badly low other than speed but that doesn't matter if you are running say a barebones spear build with boosters or a barebones melee face hugger build with boosters. Hell, you could use the new cab in a shotgun wedge and still boost straight into people with melee shit. This of course is assuming the perk even works with melee/spears. The extra damage would be insane.
@@Wigalot one of my clan mates has 3x Lacerators + Cockpit + boosters + standard stuff you'll find on a melee build. With full boost and speed it can 1 shot 9K builds but acceleration kinda sucks because of it's lower power than what we're used to with light cabind.

Perk is %+dam for each booster when over 75km/h...dont think you need to boost while firing....but i could be wrong!.......if i am then the perk is i guess!...sweet vid! Stay safe and keep it up!
You are wrong, cabin has 2 lights 1 lights up when you boost and other lights up when you go over 75 km/h ONLY when BOTH lights are up you get bonus damage
I use it with Fatman , junkbow class, Phoenix, all 360° 3 energy mg and shotties and caucus too. Only problem I have with the cabin is low max tonnage limit, so only sub 11k PS builds. I use small tracks only.
@@samusco1 it depends, statwise this cabin is WORST amongst all epic cabins, but yes in very niche builds (fly by damage) it probably can be good. But again, junkbows are best in close combat, how you plan to do close combat if you run 75 km/h? Reload perks on cabins can help Junkbows in such this much more. Very niche cabin, non-META for sure, unless lancer
@@thanatossslay9819 nighogg players have been using epic boosters with the lambo cabin and Bigfoot wheels for a while now it's and old meta. And with the small tracks, boosters doesn't affect my accelerate and top speed and I can maintain 75kph even if I am circling a slow build. Yes the max weight limit suck bad, I would be have dual Mammoths instead of fatmans

Imagine a fusion with a cockpit cabin and a tusk cabin. Extra speed and damage with lances and a brutal ram from the tusk.
