- After over a year of planning and months of work I give you the first episode to my very own animated series, Homebrew Adventures.
Set in the 41st Millennium, this episode stars our merry band of mis-fit heroes, all taken from different fan made Homebrew Space marine chapters (as well as an Ultramarine) as they are tasked with the impossible mission of finding, and beating the Daemon Primarch Fulgrim.
In regards to the bleeping and censoring during this video. This is something I never had the intention of doing and tried to keep to a minimum, however in recent times the Algorithim has really cracked down on certain words. Not just demonitising a video but also burying it and refusing to recommend it. I won't allow such a big and special project of mine to never see the light of day over a couple words.

Firstly, it is just an obvious rip-off of Alfabusa's better and more creative work.
The writing is quite amateurish.
The plot is not really interesting.
All in all, after watching the pilot - I am not the slightest bit interested how this series goes on.
I know it costs a lot more time, but even a 3D Animation like your very good Space Marine vs. Doom Guy video would have made it truly YOURS AND BETTER in my opinion. But you chose this style and I do not think you're gonna change it to 3d, so all the best for it but I am out of here.

Honestly that’s the most tamest Angry marine ever. When the Deamonettes showed up I’m surprised he didn’t immediately jump in and started multilating them.
That's why he's a misfit, he's a little less insane than the other angry marines.
He seemed to be a bit more sane than usual.

I feel the Angry Marine should be angrier and the Pretty Marine more stereotypical anime hero rather than broody emo in terms of voice acting. Solid effort for a first crack at this sorta thing though and I look forward to seeing more. Orks heavily inspired by pub brawling football hooligans anyone? ;P
Seeing the Reasonable Marine moving around is proof of concept for camo on Astartes. It fucks with the eyes in some of the scenes.

That....was an experience. Abit tweaky with the pacing and voices, but enjoyable nonetheless. Hope to see more.

What this needs is a better sense of pacing and atmosphere tbh. TTS has the magical ability of making a single conversation as long or as short as it needed to be without having to take anything from the experience.
Also the characters felt like they were written based on their own singular “meme” descriptions. Angry marine is angry / cussing etc.
Would love to have more depth layered on the characters and setting to make me genuinely care about what’s going on, but that takes time and considerable effort on the part of the team involved. You can always use nuance to your advantage.
Before directly going into the second episode you might benefit from playing around in short animations and such to get a better feel of what you want this series to be. I get that this is extremely ambitious but I felt like the passion in there was being rushed for the purpose of moving onto the next scenes.
I look forward to seeing both you and series develop.

Just guessing but I think it's more when Orks use purple they are stealthier, same for red and est est. I don't think other factions gets faster, stealthier or otherwise just because they get closer to Orks. Although that would be epic if so.
Razzar 21 a bunch of guardsman were killing waves of orks just by pointing and shouting Bang because they ran out of ammo

Yes, the fact they used it to censor some of his lines rather than the obligatory beep was a nice touch.
I was expecting that thing the Meme Marine dropped to just be a bluetooth speaker that plays "Shadilay" on infinite loop.

My little portion of feedback is: dont try to animate fights (ie: when fulgrim grabs the angry and clown marine), if this series is all about visual and dialogue comedy I like the dinamic with angry and pretty marine, but all the marines could interact bewtween them a little bit more! good luck

Having done some writing and animating myself over the years, this was clearly a labor of love, and I had smile on my face from start to finish... other than that crack about Eldar... I play eldar, and that made me snicker. My biggest laugh was the order given while the guard fought the tau. I look forward to more, and I gotta say if the pretty marine doesn't meet up with a space elf SOMEWHERE along the way... that's what fan fic is for.

I'd like to think that since they used Pre Heresy Fulgrims browser history for the video it was something very vanilla yet oddly specific, like a full 20 minute video of shoulders bumping into each other while a woman makes mayonnaise and screams because it's really hard to make.

Congrats on the first episode. When it comes to shows, the first episode is usually the hardest, but usually, they always get better. And for a first episode, it's pretty good.
Love the different personalities and traits of each marine. Loved the Ultramarine and the reasonable marine the most. I like how the ultramarine is like the heroic poster boy for the imperium and is just protected by plot armor (lots of joke potential there) and I just love all of the reasonable marines scenes of him just calling out everyone's bs and just being reasonable. The Angry marine's pretty funny, but I do feel like he needs to have more insults or actions to show he's angry than just calling people F#g (which honestly did start to get old and lose it's edgy delight IMO). The meme marine did win me over at the end with that black hole prank at the end, but I do feel him and the pretty marine didn't stand out as much (though it is just the first episode so I'm sure they'll have more chances to shine). Maybe the mem marine is more unpredictable with his emotions or actions while the pretty marine could be more cowardly during fights, but civilians are always attracted to him. Does help him and the angry marine have a back and forth going on.
Also really like the animation. Like the little touches like the scary marine randomly popping in and out and the png image of the noise marine. The only time the animation felt weird was when the angry and meme marine jumps on Fulgrim. He was holding them, but his hand was behind them not grabbing anything. But besides that nitpick, everything else is perfect. You guys did a great job and with this and everyone else's feedback, I sure you guys will make episode 2 even better.

Sup man good work, I like it but I feel it was a bit plain, some of the jokes just didn’t make it for me. I know that animating can be hard, but this will really benefit from more dinamic animation.

This work has brought me many smile brudda, though it’s not perfect and can be improved to bring many more smiles. My two cents is that the meme marines voice is like a fork scratching a plate and pains my ears maybe change his voice. Also the dialogue felt somewhat forced or awkward try to spiffy up the dialogue a bit. Thank you MK as this has brought joy to many mwah😘.

Pretty good first episode, I can see that this show will grow strong and that the animation and dialogues will get better with each episode passing.
I really enjoyed the whole animation, I thought it was really well put together and for a first episode it was very entertaining. The only problem I had was that the meme marine had a really obnoxious voice that was like a 12 year old putting on shit accent. Just make the meme marine sound different and it would be perfect
Honestly a lot of the jokes where kinda a miss for me but it was good the animation needs work but hey you will improve over time also feel like the angry marine needs to be more violent but keep up the good work man can’t wait to see the next episode

This was a fun episode, Angry Marine and Reasonable Marine were the best characters. My only criticism would have been great if the Meme Marine used some memes. I know the problem with memes is that some memes can become extremely dated or be kinda of Cringe. But even simple 4chan language like Based, Fam, Soy boy, tbh, etc would have been perfect and nice reference to the home of many great 40K memes.
i second this, also i think the pretty marine could have been tweaked a but more. Less really gay and more self-centred. Overall i love the reasonable marine

@@dinocha0s I was wondering how to say this nicely. But after all, its what I think of it. Sometimes its funny, sometimes its cringe. The voices are the biggest part, however. TTS has way stronger voice actors, look at Karl almost losing his shit while talking.

I think that You should perfect the jokes a little bit more. There were a couple of stars here but many Times it was just a little bit of meh. I think the overall idea is great, just better the dialoges and it will be perfect!

That was completely sick and I liked it!
Loved this. Animation is a bit odd and certain actions like when Fulgrim grabs two of them or when the Clown Marine drops the black hole looks funny but overall it's really good. Congrats and can't wait for more!

I would disagree, this series uses different art styles, animating styles, Homebrew instead of canon factions and even deals with a Primarch which has not yet been seen in TTS. Sure they are definitely inspiring but just because both this and TTS are parodies of 40k, doesn't make it a copy
Remember excessive swearing and gay jokes get stale real Quick.. Work on the writing.
