    Hi I have been trying to follow along on the volume displacement stuff you did - looks amazing, but the description on the arnold renderer page is not the best, there are files you can download but it is a scene with an empty sphere....any chance you could do a video on your process?

    Thank you so much ..But is there any way to get that environment effect rendered with alpha for compositing.?
    I did the same but in the end i have the object lighted but the sky is totally black. so i lost the atmosphere effect.I hope i was clear, Thanks again.

      They got real Refractive and Reflective caustics working with almost no work at Sony Imageworks. You just specify "Caustic On" for Lights and Affected Objects. It should be in the public release of Arnold in mid-2021 once the feature is production ready.

      It's a tough, manual process. We actually didn't like the textures that came with Kitbash models, so we've been replacing them.
