One thing that is getting mad annoying is the constant commenting by those *who were not there at the time* to keep dredging up the way back past in reference to Aaliyah --and the constant dwelling on negative aspects of her early life/career. Her career suffered tremendously at the time. HOWEVER, she was able to push past that energy and move her life and career in a NEW direction. At the end of her short life, she was HAPPY and on her way UP. One thing that is getting mad annoying is the constant commenting by those *who were not there at the time* to keep dredging up the way back past in reference to Aaliyah --and the constant dwelling on negative aspects of her early life/career. Her career suffered tremendously at the time. HOWEVER, she was able to push past that energy and move her life and career in a NEW direction. At the end of her short life, she was HAPPY and on her way UP. And as you can SEE AND HEAR she had a positive relationship with her parents who immediately took back over managing her career from her uncle after all that mess. Just because R. Kelly finally has to address his wrongdoings doesn't mean you need to keep salaciously dragging Aaliyah right along with him. TRUE FANS of Aaliyah would not be diminishing her legacy by continuing to link her to him. If you TRULY love Babygirl you would release that negative energy and SUPPORT her legacy. Her Uncle is problematic AF and I suspect in due time you will finally hear from Ms. Diane or Rashad when THEY feel the time is right to do so. Until then all we have is gossip, deflection from the Uncle, instigation and speculation. Aaliyah was about positive energy. That is where the focus should be PERIOD.

The sublime girl next door energy with the right touch of swag to pique your interest. Not just pretty, but beautiful. There was also something also very grown about her soul… very nurturing. It’s hard to believe she was probably no older than 16-17 here. Wow.
