I would install a sanwa JLF lever, an eight-way restrictor gate, a bat-top and hayabusa buttons into the Mayflash F300.
Great video, thanks a lot man. I just recieved the Magic S ultimate today and i didn't understand how to use it to connect the F300 arcade stick to the ps5. I was missing the the step of connecting a ps5 controller to the magic s utimate adapter and then connecting the magic s ultimate to the f300... so I did it and everything worked great! Im now able to perfectly play Street fighter 6. So thanks again! Keep up the good content.

this one seems better than the Hori fight stick mini that i have for my switch, it looks a bit bigger which seems nice bc not having room for the back of my hand and wrist to rest while im holding the stick feels pretty bad

Thank you. I did need to use the magic pro adapter supplemental adapter from the stick cord into the ps5. Did you skip this part or is it something new? It wouldn't work going straight from the stick to the ps5. Also, is there anyway to use this wireless so you don't have a cord into your ps5?
i show the magic s pro adapter, updating it, and using it in the video :) unfortunately, this is not a wireless setup.
Wanted to reach out and let you know a cheaper and easier trick. Set up remote play on PC. Set a looping keyboard macro the hits Enter (which is X on PS5).

Can you please make a video on this turbo controller like how to use 3 3 3 on mk1 with you showing the input in real life cam, because I have no idea what you were talking about on the video you made cause there was no 3

hold down the A/X button on the f300 and press the turbo button to make 3,3,3 the command. you can let go of A/X and hold down RB/R1 and press the turbo button to add R1,R1,R1 to the command. with your ps5 controller, navigate to triple threat and set up your fighter with kano kameo. take an eraser, cut it in half, put one half on the A/X button and one on teh RB/R1 button and put a book on top so that both buttons are pressed down while the others are not. profit! ill work on making a video on the turbo for mk1, but it may take some time. hopefully this helps for now :)
Really good video for a newcomer like me. But, I have a few questions if that's okay : F500 work at the same way ? A SANWA GT-Y Octagonal Restrictor Plate work on it ? Wich MAYFLASH Magic-S take ? V1 ? V2 ? Or Ultimate ? And finaly, with that we can play on PS5, but can we play native PS5 game (like Jojo ASBR PS5 version) with that ? If yes, your my savior. And last question : With just all I say before, nothing more than the controller, my PS5 controller and the Magic-S (+ firmware update), that's work, right ? Thank you for your answer. (And really sorry for all of this, I'm really really new on this.)
no worries :) the f500 is functionally similar to the f300, it just looks more fancy. i would go for the magic-s that is cheapest, the old stuff works just as well with the ps5. if you get the stick + adapter, you should be able to turbo control your way through jojo asbr !

Thinking about getting one of these for Guilty Gear since its my first fighting game and I'm struggling with inputs on the ps5 controller and my hands start hurt after a while.

Hi I got this for Christmas but didn't use it for a while and probably lost that little adapter. Do I need that for it to work or do I just update the stick, plug it into my ps5 and it's good?
it requires the little stick adapter. i had to purchase the adapter separately from the fight stick
I know its two years later but do you need the magic s pro or the magic s ultimate, since some reviews say that you require the magic s ultimate for it to work on ps5
you can use the ultimate or the pro. personally, i use the magic s pro with my ps5 :)

No adapter needed! In ps5 go to settings, bluetooth devices, and connect your ps4 controller holding PS & share buttons for a couple of seconds. Then connect the Stick as usual

For a person with large hands is the same or better f500 that has more space between the stick and the edge okay?

Everytime i connect my ps5 controller to the magic s pro to my f300, it loses its connection and i have to end up unplugging and plugging it to reconnect. Should i replace the usb pcb on my fightstick or try something else?

I had the adapter but it broke. However, I found you can plug in a PS4 controller into the F300 usb port (no need to switch it on). Might need latest firmware, not sure.
according to mayflash : the magic boots converter for ps4, the magic-s pro, and certain third party ps4 controllers work with connecting the f300 to a PS5 :)
@@TheJadedRabbit ah I have the F300 Elite. I plug an official PS4 controller into it. Not the best solution. I wish PlayStation would throw us a bone and support our sticks fully on PS5
Do you only need the adapter to play ps5 games? Or can you just connect a ps4 controller and use it on ur ps5
i think you can use it with only the magic s adapter but im unfamiliar on this method since i got the fight stick.
For the stick do I need to download the previous firmware or can i just start with the latest firmware and update it ?

I have the mayflash F300 and I was following your tutorial and my arcade stick won't connect to the software on the computer. Thus, I can't update it at all, please help!

When i press and hold the home button before pluggin in the F300 Elite Stick (as the steps on the mayflash website says to do so) joy.cpl does not list any controller and the Mayflash firmware updater says "Unknown device !". When I do not press and hold home button the controller is recognized in joy.cpl (and works in windows) but the firmware updater shows nothing at all.
try using an old firmware update if the new ones arent working. other than that, im not too certain about the elite stick.
Is there a difference between f300 and f300 elite? I would like to use it for sf6 and just need help

for playing on a PS5, is it a requirement to get a MAGIC-S adapter, even if you don't intend to use Turbo?
the magic-s adapter is required when on ps5
@@TheJadedRabbit it also works if you plug a PS4 controller in (don't have to switch it on). Just plug the PS4 USB into the F300. May need latest firmware, not sure.

The website says that the magic pro is discontinued and to use the magic s ultimate. Is this true or can I just get either one

ive never tested this out. ive never gone back to the ps4 since getting the ps5 lol id imagine it would still be usable since i swap between the switch and ps5 with it ;)

i dont think so. you need to have the adapter plugged into a usb port.
I got it with the Magic-S Pro 2 but it stops working after a couple of minutes of being used, should I try other Magic adapter instead of the Pro 2? Or what should I do to make it work without disconnecting on my PS5?
:( im not certain about that. ive never used the pro 2, but it works fine with the regular magic s pro adapter.

I have the f500 and magic-s. For some reason when I’m playing a ps5 game after a few mins the control will just be non responsive/lock up and the character or whatever your controlling will just fly to the left of the screen. Super odd! I sent back my magic-s pro 2 in exchange for a new one hoping that’s the issue. Also ordered the f300 to see if maybe the f500 is the issue. Lol you can always use the magic s pro on the mayflash arcade stick and plug in a ps4 controller to play ps5 games too. But again I ran into the problem where after a few mins the controller would just be unresponsive/lock up so it’s either my arcade stick or the magic s pro. Hopefully. I’ll update in a few days
thankfully with the f300, the magic s pro and the ps5 controller, i have never had that issue. it seems to be a much simpler situation for xbox users. i hope your issue gets sorted out!
The magic s pro 2 DOES NOT work with PS5, based off of their Amazon page, stated at the bottom. The magic s pro 1 does. I was just about to order the wrong one.
@@toodmorales8462 yup found out the hard way. What’s messed up is that it actually does work but only for about 4 mins and then it just locks up, so I thought my magic pro 2 or f500 was faulty. Good luck finding a magic s pro 1 though, Amazon is sold out and no one is selling it seems. Super bummed about it

And yes it 100% works BUT and there is a but….a few ps5 games work with what I’m trying to do, I connect the mayflash f500 with the magic s pro 1 and then connect a ps4 controller to it so I can use the ps4 controller on ps5 games. Ff7 remake ps5 version, Spider-Man remastered ps5, Astro bot ps5 all work! But some
Don’t like stray, kena, greedfall, even the diofield demo, all say “ps5 games can not be played with current controller”. So it’s a 50/50 shot. But I’ll take it, just sucks Sony is gatekeeping. A work around is to use remote play using a cellphone or computer or iPad but then that device is taken up by the app. Really wondering why I’m team Sony over team xbox this generation. Xbox is treating us good, I can connect anything with the brook wingman and it just works and no messages saying I can’t use the controller for sx games. Hell I was using a ps3 controller playing the 360 sx version of castlevania lord of shadow lol.
how do u use this for mk1?
if youve used it in mk11 or sf6, it works similarly. just orient your character to the node you wish to grind, set the turbo button for X or X + another key like R1, and profit!

This is absolutely not true! I’ve had these sticks for like 5 years. You can play any PS4 game without adapter on your PS5 using a DS4 controller. I currently have like 70+ PS4 games on my PS5 that work great with my stick. The arcade game series, gauntlet, injustice, mortal, street fighters, NFS Hot Pursuit, golf, bowling, sonic, TMNT, tennis, q-Bert, all side scrollers, etc.
I'm having an issue where the Mayflash just kinda stops working occasionally while being used. Anyone know how to fix that?
ive had this happen on the switch, it might be a game or system setting. make sure all idle modes are switched off!

since you have to plug in the usb for the new firmware, i dont think phone updating is possible.

you can take the controller off and use normally with the fight stick still attached :)
even though the Fight Stick is 55 bucks right now, it would cost 35 just for the stupid little adapter, i dont think it's worth the investment for me.. although I guess i could use one on everything else like Xbox, MiSTer, etc. Idk, still thinking about it lol

i feel scammed . nowhere it is mentioned that you need an additional 35 buck adapter, the fightstick is sold with the note that you only need a firmware update for it to work on ps5
i relate, i felt hard pressed that i had essentially gotten a brick! had to wait a few weeks till i got the adapter to make it work
