for some reason those people think that spamming legendary is being a good player and having a strategy is being shitty at the game, they literally hope they are lucky and win, it was clear when he wished for a crit and when he spammed hydro pump even when it wasn't effective, while a good player if they depend on crit they would make an strategy around get the crit up, or something like that

@@maxishere9082 after doing some research on the opponents, I’d say some are, and some aren’t, this being one of them that isn’t, but their 2 most recent videos most definitely are. They’re both unregistered accounts with almost no games played. This one has been registered since May 2nd and is at 1300 in gen 8 AG.

I think the most impressive thing about these toxic players is how they'll just fully lean into a deadlock that's slowly killing them for like 20 turns without thinking to change anything. "Oh Clefable takes almost no damage from Palkia Hydro Pump? Surely the next 7 Hydro Pumps will be different!"

Your videos inspired me to get back into Pokémon and pick up where I left off. After maxing out battle tower I tried my hand at some casual battles. It really made me consider more the holes in my teams defenses. I don’t use legendaries at all so I didn’t expect much. 2 battles I struggled to overcome legendary spammers and just gave up. The 3rd battle I was against another legendary team and was able to win with my common Pokémon. Was very proud of the single win because it meant I was doing something right. The turning moment was when I Dynamaxed my Galarian Rapidash for a Max Starfall on his Zoroark which was disguised as a Blastoise that I was too afraid to hit. I got lucky and called a bluff that I wasn’t even aware of. When it came down to it all that he had left on the field was his Blastoise and I still had my Klingklang and Toxtricity. I had set them up for Plus/Plus for the special attack boost, and was able to one shot his slow G-Max Blastoise.

@@averylaible6312 I would be pleasantly impressed if someone challenged him to end up on a video with a team of all Ubers... *except each one had a purpose beyond just being strong*. A pair of sweeping options, a couple of answers to what would counter those options, and a decent lead.

@@langying Because Obeetle resists Psystrike and has high defenses, so he should have gone for a move that was super effective for a possible two shot or switched to something with Utility

What is it that makes Linoone great for that strategy? Is it just Gluttony+Belly Drum, or is there something else?
@@ericherde1 For starters, for what is typically delegated to the HM slave slot, Linoone is shockingly powerful with the right IV and EV balance. Not to mention Normal-types can be pretty versatile as well. I know from experience that Linoone can be surprising.

@@nicholascordero6600 not really, the potential maximum of a stat assuming a positive nature, 31 IV and 252 EV is solely based on its based value. Even more legendaries often have very good type combination with very strong signature moves and overall strong available moves that similar non legendaries have not, unique abilities which are sometimes just meta breaking (see mega-rayquaza being banned on uber tier for example).

Unaware makes it so you ignore your opponents stats boosts. Look up the ability for the full run down. Cleffable can also have magic guard(?) whichever on that reflects traps/‘ignores status effects. So when he didn’t take stealth rock damage, that meant boosts against it are worthless cause it’s unaware.

Practically every kid who's school gives out iPad's, laptops, or Tablets gets into Showdown because its free and easy to use as a topic if its got enough clout, which pokemon does. I mean look how many more kids and teens play Fortnite since it was launched on mobile. Showdown isnthe same where alot of the playerbase are teens and kids and content creators/streamers

I only discovered him a couple days ago, and I've played showdown before. Toxic no-one exist, but either he's a salt miner, or there's actors.

I like how the guy sent out Dialga and didn’t use a Steel type move on Clefable. But Temp6t is supposedly the bad one.
Probably because he doesn't have any, he replaced all the strategic moves with big hitters like Thunder and DracoMeteor.
He didn't just not use a steel type move, HE USED A *DRAGON TYPE MOVE* on a freaking *FAIRY*!
He had a major fairy weakness and didn't put a steel type move on his only answer

They are mostly kids who just go by the logic of harder hitting better. We have all been there teaching and spaming earthquake whit 90% of our pokemons
If you look at temps actual win rate it's really low so most people who see him and yell at him are going to win it's just the rare cases where he gets super lucky and his strategies work that we get to see on TH-cam. and I will not say that's a bad thing! it's freaking hilarious every time it happens.
