We decided to redo this gem in 4K 60FPS in ultra settings. We did it originally way back in the day on the Xbox 360. We just want to continue to build the 4K library for you guys. I love that final shot. It gives me the feeling that Max has deserved a rest. If this was his final adventure, that would be OK. The character earned it.
I hated Fabiana's death. She really trusted Max and he really cared about her. My biggest motivation for playing the game was rescuing her, then avenging her.
Max Payne 3 was the first Max Payne game. I was actually kind of shocked Fabiana died and I was kind of saddened by it. I can't imagine how thankful and hopeful she might've been that Max showed up out of nowhere for her before dying.
I loved this game. Seriously loved it. Would totally grab a remaster. The story is so great, the music is phenomenal, the combat was so addictive. Just a really really awesome game man. Big ups for the upload!

The Max Payne series of video games are a gem. From the storyline, to the dialogue, graphics and playability it set the standard for 1st person games in my book. (and thoughts and prayers for Mr. McCaffrey. He brought Max to life with his great voice..) This game created characters you actually care about.

Most games are either heroic without flaws or just plain evil. Max Payne is a compassionate yet broken man who tries to do right but hates himself nonetheless.
Man I forgot all about this game. I had it in like 2013 when I was 11. But I traded it with a friend for assassin’s creed 2 and 3. I don’t regret it. I loved both assassin’s creed games. But I also loved max payne 3. I recently dug out my old ps3 from my closet and bought max payne 3 from Amazon for $15. I can’t wait to replay this game. Also the physics and some of the details felt ahead of their time. Like how you can see enemies choking if you shoot them in the throat
How this guy keeps surviving these scenarios, doing the stupidest maneuvers imaginable, jumping on cranes that limit his ability to dodge, lowering him into his enemy, in point blank range is a testament to the power of plot armor.
This game is a masterpiece why? Great story, characters, atmosphere, pretty much everything. Tha bad? Only that effect that comes in every now and then.

This reminds me so much of Denzel Washingtons Man on fire. How corrosive the film is, Max being downgraded to rich guy body guard, the ransom plot, his horrible alcoholism. The setting is even the same.

What makes the gameplay realistic is it doesn't have a dashboard that shows where enemies are gonna come! Very brilliant series, although I missed the comics styled storytelling!
Fun fact there’s a mod in development that makes every cutscene the comic style. Freeze frame photos with speech bubbles coming off the characters matching the dialogue. Theres demo footage of it on TH-cam
