I think it's because that Brecken is a parkour instructor and Crane is a GRE agent so Crane has more combat and survival skills than Brecken.

Oh man, this game aged so well, even on 2021 it still has gorgeous graphics, they look so goddamn great. No matter how much time passes, Dying Light will still remain as one of my favorite zombie games of all times.

In the campaign you actually go through the same tunnel Brecken went through. And the funny thing is you are also being chased by Volatile's its near the end of the game, its actually the last mission.

As amazing as this trailer was, it in no way prepared for me for just what an amazing game Dying Light would be. Kudos to Techland for this masterpiece, AND for continuing to support the game with new content and events all the way up until the sequel's release. Not many studios will do that.
Techland is above anything else in gaming. Splendid costumer support and free content for DL1.

God. I haven't played this game until a year or two ago, but I have always loved this trailer just perfect editing, use of song and very intense story.

It’s slowly getting better the new gore update that came out was incredible and even better than the 1st games gore we just need the parkour and night improvements then the game will be pretty good and hopefully the dlc will be better as well
DL2 is getting better, they even redid a whole dlc for the community. I just hope they rework the story or something..

They have to go through all of this and crane just has to use a few jumps and climbing, mostly using the grappling hook and he's there, barely any zombies disrupt your run

Late comment but I think this is when the virus pretty much first struck and people just started turning as you notice all the zombies are pretty much runners so there all virals and when crane gets there the virals have all become biters except the few that just turned so I believe all these zombies are virals and there are more of them together because the virals go in groups and yes the grappling hook is op as shit

Took me like three playthroughs to realize this was Brecken's mission that failed that caused the head injury and not an imagined scenario with Kyle Crane.
Brecken is such an underrated character, i wished we could see more of him...

I'm a bit shocked people think this was when Crane got bit, when it's not. It's the Night Mission you help prepared for with the car and light traps just before your first night sleeping in a safe zone. The mission even says "Help prepare for Brekens night mission"

Oh man!! This popped up in my recommended and I JUST realized that I saw this trailer on cable when the game first released. I thought it was always a bit freaky looking, but the music and cinematics gave me a rush.
Seeing it again brought back that memory of being intrigued but sort of frightened. Now here I am playing the game and everything held up to this day, even after playing the more modern apocalyptic games. Graphics, gameplay, atmosphere, it's still so good!
