    Good point about the "pro"s in produce, project, etc. A lot of these pronunciations are interchangeable in American accent. Envelope either way by the same person, same with "either" and "route". Guessing there's more of a British influence to the Nigerian English. My favorite was "Habaty" versus "Erbull tee".

      @@haziri5118 I understand the nervousness, many people in the United States have trouble understanding accents if they are not expecting to hear one🤦🏾‍♀️ just speak very slowly and clearly and you should be fine. • @sabrinahoward5891
      @sabrinahoward5891 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      American was never colonized by British. The original 12 colonies were British colonies. America was not in existence until 1776. In the 245 year history, this country has never been colonized, this is why he revolutionary war was fought. The colonist fought Britain to protect the slavery in the south, freedom from taxation, and the right to print their own money. But basically to protect the institution of slavery which is the foundation of the country. The US is a slave nation not a nation of slaves. Everything about this country is to keep people in a state of slavery.

    • @daviabardonado1078
      @daviabardonado1078 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@sabrinahoward5891 Wrong! The British thirteen colonies also known as the AMERICAN colonies was a system of colonies governed and ruled by the British monarch. They controlled territories starting 1607 and dissolved in 1776. The key word is dissolved. America like any country that was colonized gained its independence from Britain in 1776. If you are going to assert the claim that America was never colonized because they were not a country yet, then please conceded that majority of third world countries are in the same boat. This is definitely both a nation of slaves and a slave nation. Understand you must first comprehend history before you can teach it. Next
